We need to get back to winning ways here, especially at home. If we do not win this I can see us making the challenge of catching 7th place too tough, and we will drift away.
York are almost certainly thinking the same thing down the bottom.
Yet another big game! One of the most exciting ends...
I generally despise all good players who play for other clubs, especially the ones who are good enough to remember for questions like this.
If we can count our own ex players then Danny Kedwell, Billy Knott, and George Moncur, are ones I usually look out for.
I did think it was quite funny...
That is shocking officiating, but I have actually been on the line for worse. Literally in the 1st cup final I was ever involved in, the referee blew for full time (before extra time, eventually ending in a rout for the other team) after one player hit the bar, and before another player struck...
Wow. I hadn't even seen our fixtures. 3 of the top 4, and a playoff rival. Probably the hardest run we have ever had in the football league? Especially as we never ever get results from Oxford or Accy.
Imagine if we win them all...
I don't really mind where we finish now. We don't have a big budget. Yet we've had a decent season. The only thing I'm disappointed about is not doing well in any cup.
Yeah, really dissapointing performance. Particularly the second half, which grew more and more frustrating with every single blow of the refs whistle.
BTW he was most definitely right to give every single one of those Ade Azeez fouls. He blatantly kept pushing players in the back when he lost...
If we win or draw against Yoevil, who have been awful this year, possibly the only prediction you got right is Ardley looking for a new job - Up a league!
If we can win against Yeovil next I will believe that we can make playoffs this season.
From reports we played great both halves, and really dominated.
Having said that, 3 games ago it was all doom and gloom, so we're just as likely to implode and go on another winless run. Here's hoping that doesn't happen though :2thumb:
I reckon we will win this. We had the beating of Notts in our last match, and our players only really started playing in the second half.
I'm guessing the same will happen this time around. We will either do them on the counter, or County will get an early goal, put everyone behind the ball, and...
Let's be honest, probably neither of us are going up this year. We are probably both going to be mid table. One of us might scrape playoffs, but it's unlikely.
However you cannot write a team off as definately mid table at the half way point. Remember York a couple years a go? Relegation zone...
