Sky have moved our home game v Charlton to a 12.30 kick off and will apparently be picking fixtures on a weekly basis.
Get prepared for regularly being fucked over, folks.
We appointed Scott Rusk for that role four years ago and it was an unmitigated disaster, which led to Challinor coming in with a more traditional managerial role (oversight of signings). I really don't think that separation of roles will work in English football like it does on the continent.
Oof, some proper foot-in-mouth stuff from Wellens after the game. Orient have removed his post-match interview from YT
Edit - not so easy to delete things from the internet
Personally I was more annoyed by his insistence that a ball blasted at a defender from three yards away, then...
Lucky not to be stretchered off at some point, sure
Your man clattered him for the foul before the goal and there was a definite orange card challenge later on.
Two excellent performances in each half for County, the first half a strong attacking show and the second half a defensive masterclass. To do it against the division's form side, away from home, is something special, and might just be the best result of the season
Really bright stuff from County at Orient, weathered a bit of a small storm before scoring and since then there's only been one side in it, how we haven't got another couple is beyond me.
