Must admit, even as a Chester fan, the racecourse is a cracking ground. Could imagine for most clubs its a cracking away day with the location of the station and town center.
From what I've seen it would be probably be the 3-0 v Nottingham Forest a few years back. Historically though our most famous victory would be beating Leeds United 3-0 in the league cup in 1975, they were reigning champions at the time and we were a 4th division side.
We have had a squad builder fund ever since we reformed that goes towards the playing budget for the management to use on any player they like not just Mills or Hughes.
From teams I've watched with Chester
Best - Leeds, Grimsby, Bournemouth, Stockport
Worst - Bristol Rovers, decent numbers but sat down silent for 90 minutes even when 2-0 up. Barnsley were terrible as well.
In matches other than Chester:
Best - Sheffield United, Chelsea, Pompey.

Best Away Game: Hard to call really with having 3 promotions in a row in regionalised leagues, every other week we were going away, taking pretty big followings and almost always winning. Purely for the game it self it would probably have to be Wrexham in 2013/4. Last time we visited I remember...
How did a homeless person afford to go to an away game?
He shouldn't have felt too bad about disrupting the minutes silence, it was for a Liverpool gangster who had been shot dead.
Tranmere is the big one for us next season, I've never seen a competitive game against them so looking forward to it. Will be good to be able to go to a derby match without a bubble (hopefully). Result wise Wrexham will still be the biggest game for us but its not much fun now with the...
That just isn't true though is it? Pretty much everyone who has ever played with him says what a great guy he is, he's one of the most popular players in the sport. He even won the Aussie public over with his Big Bash commentary.
He was 2nd highest run scorer in the Big Bash, okay that's T20 but you could see he is still batting as well as he ever has. You'd be hard pushed to find an innings of 300+ that has been absolutely chance less, Chris Gayle was dropped a few times during his century the other day in the IPL...
Why not? Nearly 1k on our last visit which was a Wednesday night. Expect we'd take that again.
Hope they come up, fixture list will look a lot more interesting with Tranmere and Chorley added to it.
