A football club is important to any town and city. Even more irony is the fact Coventry won EFL Midlands community club of the year yesterday. Mainly down to the fact it provided opportunities for children from difficult backgrounds an opportunity to a a kids club providing meals.

Like the council in general, he's failed to back the club. The council are more happy with being City of Culture and having a mid table top flight rugby team than their biggest sporting club being in the city.
