Match Day Everton v Bournemouth, Saturday 4th February 15:00

It's the Eddie Howe way. Twas the same when he was our manager. Belting match to watch as a neutral though.

Ahh I see! That definitely is out of order then. Thanks for the explanation.

    The Joke thread

Bob was looking at his wife: no teeth in, tits on her belly, hair a mess and smoking a roll up. Then she cocked her leg and let out a massive fart. "You are a mess and I'm disgusted with you," He said. "I'm still the woman you love and married," she said. "Sometimes we all let ourselves go a...

    Match Day Huddersfield vs Leeds

Checking in on this thread to see what happened between Monk and Wagner but found myself more intrigued by the Turkey flag. Why would that be an issue? I see lots of national flags at stadium's. Genuinely intrigued why the Turkish flag is causing a flap?!

Match Day Hull v Liverpool, Saturday 4th February 15:00

Then Klopp should have addressed it in the window. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Liverpool have quality players but if defences have anything about them they'll limit you to playing in front of them. You lack a target man to get on the end of your wide men's crosses. It's not easy...

Match Day Hull v Liverpool, Saturday 4th February 15:00

Teams have figured you out, simple as. A blind man on a galloping horse can see where you're lacking. No plan B.

    The Joke thread

A bloke goes into a Welsh pub and asks for a gin and tonic. All the pub falls silent, then the landlord says "Where are you from boyo, you sound English"? "Er, I'm from Bristol actually" he replies nervously. "Bristol you say, and what do you do in Bristol, look you"? says the Landlord "I'm a...

What Do Scouts Look For In Young Players & How Can They Improve On Finding Quality Players?

No it's all about money DTalent. Scouts are out there, but clubs want an instant fix. If they don't have that, they snap up all the talent, even the ones who are not so. It's the equivalent to over fishing the ocean. Dredge them up, maybe get lucky and spit the rest out. If the FA focus, and I...

Why do you support your club?

I don't think that's necessary Blade. You are tarring everyone with same brush and that just isn't fair on the vast majority of fans of any club!

Why do you support your club?

Likewise. I often say a little thanks to my Dad. Could have ended up supporting them down the road but he persevered. That's a lovely story as to how you ended up being a Charlton fan Bobbin. Fair play to you for sticking by the club too through what have been tough times mate.

I'm no expert but I thought James Haskell was a key to us winning yesterday. Gave us that bit extra in the final 15/20 minutes.

Why do you support your club?

Fair play DarkSith. I used to get on as many Accrington Stanley games as possible when they were non-league as I lived there back between 1981-88 and my lot were away. Still have a soft spot for them but thoroughly enjoy the thought of a fan enjoying their local team regardless of level.

Why do you support your club?

I understand the identity but not sure I measure people against who they support. Maybe people get preconceptions of other fans and their clubs. I am, however; curious what drives people to support a club. Especially in an area where the catchment area is shared, such as United and Wednesday as...

Why do you support your club?

My missus is a die hard Feyenoord fan. So she has adopted Burnley as her 2nd club and vice versa.

It's taken me years to figure most of the rules out Leo. You're not on your own  I kind of get it now...just. I still don't understand all the rules though.

Why do you support your club?

Interesting feedback. Cheers. I know you mentioned your first game Dirk in another thread but that wasn't necessarily the team you follow. By all rights I should be a Blackburn Rovers fan as we spent a good number of years living there and in nearby Accrington in a school where the majority...

Here's hoping le pen dies in random car crash( the French election thread) and general European ting

Labour should rename itself. It used to represent the workers and it was a noble party. Now they represent the benefits scroungers.

Here's hoping le pen dies in random car crash( the French election thread) and general European ting

Hard to argue with the move to the right politically across Europe. My fiancee is Dutch and she never even got a vote on the Euro currency, confirmed by many of her friends regardless of their political persuasion. Her government claim they did, she says they just included it in with another...
