Match Day Arsenal v Burnley, Sunday 22nd January 14:15

Can't argue with that. Thought ref/assistants had a good game aside from that last minute decision. Bloody Koscielny again, offside again. Starting to dislike that man

Match Day Arsenal v Burnley, Sunday 22nd January 14:15

Being pragmatic. We were lucky not to have a penalty given against us earlier when Gray needlessly fouled their player. Que Sera, Sera. We have improved as the season has gone on away and surely points will come if we carry on in the same vein. That said, you could argue they were offside in the...

    The Aston Villa Thread

I read last night Fulham want him back on loan. Agree with a post above that Bruce will get you back up, given time. You can't throw endless money at promotion in that division. Gawd knows Blackburn Rovers tried as have several other clubs. You have to get the right players with the right...

Match Day Middlesbrough v West Ham, Saturday 21st January 15:00

There is a section of Boro fans intent on trouble. A few hundred of them thought it wise to march on our main home stretch outside Turf Moor a few seasons back. Outnumbered the police until our lot came out and encircled them. Got a bit tasty for a few minutes until they all ran off to their...

Match Day Middlesbrough v West Ham, Saturday 21st January 15:00

Karanka is about to have his second meltdown within a year. He's just blamed the fans and said his team never play long ball. Which is odd as for a team who does play long ball (us) his side played more long balls than us in our recent win over them. He'll be due a walkout again soon. P.S. Well...

Match Day Liverpool v Swansea, Saturday 21st January 12:30

I'm not one to gloat or rub in as karma has a way of coming back to bite. Was a bit of a shock result, but then these surprise results do happen from time to time. Well done Swansea.

    Donald Trump

To be fair the American Ambassador to Britain knew he was leaving after Trump won last year.

PL shit that doesn't need it's own thread.

An in-house bakery?! Do Spurs fans have a penchant for fresh bread?

    Donald Trump

Whatever your opionion is of Donald Trump, be it positive or negative. Let's not forget. It's no different to anywhere else where democracy thrives. What he promised he'd do and what is popular with the public to get him to where he has got to. Doesn't translate into what he will actually...

    Things We Hate

Wish that bloody annoying Aaron Heslehurst would bugger off back to Australia. Nothing against Aussies but he's waaay too chirpy and lively for BBC News at 5-6am! Acts like he's drank ten pints of Red Bull before going on air!

    Stickied Transfer Rumours 2018/19

We put a £7.5 million bid in for Snodgrass yesterday. West Ham have apparently matched it today. Interesting that our Clarets forum has padlocked the rumour thread on him as they only usually do that when a signing is imminent. That or arguing amongst themselves but if they did that for every...

    Your very first match live?

Quite right to be sentimental and emotional Dirk and Leo. Both very much in your hearts. Not quite so hard hitting emotionally as yours but my Dad was a massive Burnley fan, even into his fifties and sixties, you'd see him writing down all the permutations, season after season as to results and...

    Stickied Transfer Rumours 2018/19

With my missus being Dutch, we watch a lot of Eredivisie. We were surprised to say the least that United signed him. We said at the time he was not good enough/ready enough for the Premier League, especially at the amount paid. He was always a high risk signing but at that fee, was beyond...

    No more offsides?

Had to laugh at a comment on a Burnley forum regards this. Our striker Andre Gray is constantly off-side, it's a part of his game that needs vast improvement. Anyway a comment read 'If they get rid of off-sides Andre Gray would be worth £100 million, I'm all for it' Made me chuckle anyway.

    No more offsides?

Ridiculous! I agree with the above on the marginally offside being allowed as defenders seem to have lost the art to defend. It'd sharpen them up a great deal but abolishing it would just lead to as mentioned; hoofing the ball up to two strikers hovering in the six yard box. I'd be open to the...

Match Day Arsenal v Burnley, Sunday 22nd January 14:15

It's another one where we'll expect nothing and be happy with a point. To be fair, we don't tend to do too badly at The Emirates over recent seasons, performance wise anyway. I guess it depends on if we have signed anyone before tomorrows deadline of Noon. I think we've finally found a system...

    Stickied Transfer Rumours 2018/19

We've put a bid in for Snodgrass apparently. Just been confirmed. Not sure how much, but Robbie Brady bid is said to be around £10 million plus add on's. I'd guess we've probably low balled them to start off with a bid of a £1 more than the previous highest bid.
