Definitely would prefer both Sharp and Ironside to start I just don’t think we have the right combination of players in midfield to make it work against a team like Walsall. I hope I’m completely wrong but I just haven’t seen us play well enough this season, we seem to be missing a spark.
I’m not being negative, just realistic. The way Walsall set up is exactly the style we struggle against. We beat Tranmere but you can’t say it was a good performance, passing was poor, decision making was poor and we are still wasting very good chances.
3 points at home again at last, should have scored far more tha we did even though we didn’t play that well, it’s just Tranmere are shite, worst team we’ve played this season.
Poor finishing yet again, should have been 7 up before they scored plus 2 off the post, if we could sort our finishing out we would have a far better goal difference
It’s easier to say TLT Timothy Lo-Tutala just signed a new contract at Hull so you are going to have to pay big bucks or it’s a loan. Shame as we were hoping to get him back.
We’ve enquired about a striker on loan, rumours from Man Utd, just seen Marty Craig is getting recalled from Barnsley so...
I’m happy we are out but it’s still concerning that we are very wasteful at home. Yeboah is going back to Bristol in January and we’ve already put a bid in for another forward, still think we are short of a defensive and creative midfielder plus another winger.
Personally I couldn’t give a monkeys chuff about it other than I hope we don’t get any injuries. McCann however wants us to win it. I won’t know the result until I get up tomorrow morning
It was a game of little quality and neither side deserved to win. Both your goals were purely down to poor defending by us, the first we basically watched it go in and then for reasons only known to Olowu he ducked instead of heading it and it went straight in. In contrast both our goals were...
