Really feels like a must win. After tomorrow we'll probably only play twice more before 29th March with Posh H likely to be postponed, and those are Oxford A and Barnsley A. Unlikely to get much from those two and teams around us will all play 3 or 4 times in that time, so even with games in...
Must win game for us. We usually do well at home under the lights so I'm clinging onto that. We have a run of Oxford A, Barnsley A and Posh H after Tuesday so could well be curtains if we fail to beat you. Last two games have been shocking though so not holding out much hope.
I'm not really worried about anyone else, won't matter if we keep performing like we did today. I don't trust us to win when it really matters I.e when we're in striking distance of the sides above us. We had no urgency and frankly looked scared today.
Utter garbage from us today. No urgency whatsoever in a must win game. Burton unlucky not to win it in the end. Feel good factor of recent weeks is well and truly gone after the last 2 games.
Ugh. We've actually been better since our subs but that's such a shit goal. Awful from Smith allowing them to break instead of just fucking booting it. We don't deserve anything but still so frustrating
I don't know why we're playing that way - it's how we played under Wade Elliott and look where that got us. Expecting 2 or 3 half time changes and hopefully a bit more attacking intent because this is only going one way atm.
Absolutely shocking from us so far. No idea how we're not losing. Tactic seems to be just hoof it to our tiny strikers vs their 6ft5 CBs and guess what, it's not working.
Likewise, it's a tough one to call. The home game a few weeks ago was disappointing and I'm sure DC will be reminding the players of that.
3-3, 3-3, 5-5 and 3-0 on our last 4 trips but don't think we'll see so many goals this time. 1-1, or either side to nick it 2-1.
Cracking result for Shrews that. Would have preferred a draw from our pov but at least keeps Reading close too.
Still work to do for us to catch the pack above but getting closer.
That Lincoln defender isn't 10 yards but what would really have helped Vale is if they didn't simply pass the ball straight to him lol, get what you deserve for that frankly
8 own goals and counting for us this season, plus at least 1 or 2 more that weren't officially credited but basically were OGs. Would take a draw now - not been at our best tonight.
