Which has Harrow Conservative MP Bob Blackman on the warpath. The only time you'd want him anywhere near you is when you are trying to convince a partner that your 4 inches is 8 inches long. #BobExaggerates#MileageExpensesAreSubjective
Just shows how strong a squad we now have to be without some many first team players and to have only one glaring weakness at left back, which is understandable when we are two men down in that position.
According to our unofficial correspondent he's class, which has kept me from my bed for the last 20 minutes. If this turns out to be hyperbole, someone is getting cut!
It's probably Akinola from us. We have brought in an 18 year old so can let him go. Played him out of position as a striker and when he moves on he will score for fun like Coulson has.
I was going to do a hoped for the Earth but ended up with Mars line, but lost the will halfway through. Pretty sure that I'll use the shove it up Uranus Mr Chairman by the end of the night though.
We've got an incoming. Not sure who, but we've been given a warning that it is imminent, so it must be to allow us to compose ourselves for the sisemic shock. Landscape of this division is about to change.
6pm and all quiet for us. With Akinde still injured with a knee problem that kept him out of the opening day of the season as a precaution, I can't see him passing any medicals, so not sure if we are going to do any headline grabbing business.
I'd be disappointed to lose Akinola if those...
If there was a bid of around £750k for Akinde I would take it now, as long as some of those funds were invested back into the team. After August there is only three more windows and his value will depreciate significantly to the point where we'll get very little in Jan 19.
Mark Flashman hands down. Comedy backup goalkeeper who was a clear beneficiary of the nepotism shown to him by his Chairman dad, Stan.
Have been a few not in the squad because of who their parents were, and of those Luke Medley always stands out. Wasn't happy that a tribunal set a fee of...
Really good summary of the crop of players coming through.
Jack Taylor is the stand out player. If he adds goals (Saturday was a good start) then I'd be very surprised if he doesn't at least make the Premier League.
To have all those players either playing, or in and around the squad, in...
Being honest, it looked a foul to me in the build up, but then it looked like a waterlogged pitch, so not sure why anyone would expect competency from this ref.
Didn't make the game but from reports sounded like two well drilled teams but we showed the one bit of quality to score a goal...
Yeah, remember waiting for that after cruising past Fulham 3-0.
That year we played Lincoln, Dougie Freedman's last game and that game had two of the best players that I've seen at this level. Freedman and Darren Huckerby. Ridiculously good for Division 3 as it was then.
Team wise stronger that year. Sold Freedman a few games into that season for good money then brought in Sean Devine a short while later. Had Maik Taylor in goal, Linvoy Primus at the back and Lee Hodges up front.
We should have made the playoffs that year but threw away a two goal lead in our...
Hopefully big John has shaken off his knock as apparently, according to one poster on our board, we are only a Conference South team without him.:bl:
Really need to get off to a decent start as I get the feeling there are some waiting to stick the boot in if we don't.
Lost 3-1 to Concorde. Don't care about results, but this will inevitably lead to posts about how we are in trouble for the coming season. Can't score without Akinde etc...
