Fair enough, looking back on it we were excellent. But when the free header goes wide and the 6 yard strike gets skyed in the first 20 mins, it just felt like our day. I still think if you'd have got 1 you'd have got a hatful. Excellent evening out at a friendly club none the less.

Not sure if someone's covered it before, but the reasoning seems pretty obvious. With the size of sides and money being thrown around in NLN, the part time (and full time) NL northern teams are being gazumped on wages. Salford as a prime example of that - half their side would get in to most NL...

Half the fan base is graduates and hipsters on days out. Don't begrudge them that, but what happens when they have a poor season? These people won't hang around when the entry prices eventually go up. They might make it to National level, but can't see it going further.

We've consistently lost the better atmosphere's over the last few years: Luton and Grimsby were excellent and Cambridge was decent when it got going. Looking forward to Maidstone this season.

It's even worse than that. It's like organising and interrupting a meeting with another company on your last day just so they can walk to the exit and wave you off. The self importance of the wanker is just staggering.

Played for us in our last play off winning side at this level and in the National. Neat and tidy left footed central midfielder. I really rated him - one of those players that ticks the ball over and will do well in a passing side like yourself IMO. Best played on the left of a midfield 3

Excellent for us as a centre half and was key to our run to the play offs in the National. Only left to drop a level as he couldn't commit to the travelling anymore. The fact he's been converted to a striker, is frankly embarrassing for every player in the league tbh
