Yet again Fleetwood have a player sent off on the stroke of half time, a goal ahead at the time. 2nd half one way traffic with Lincoln in total ascendancy. Good results from most of the teams above us do it's fair to say a shite day. 2 tough successive home games coming so quite simply the team...
Lincoln away and going into this match confidence will certainly be high. A number of our players are really hitting form at the moment, Wiredu, Lawal, Coughing and Stockley. Jay Lynch our goalie has had a somewhat indifferent spell prior to the last few games but on Tuesday he made some...
Well mate, I'll take that as it's meant - cheers. A terrific win for Fleetwood, isn't sport incredible, one minute your down and out, next minute you get a couple of decent results and the worlds a different place. We are going down fighting, and with pride in our bellies, you can't ask for...
I think Carlisle Fleetwood and Cheltenham are heading towards league 2
The 4th member of this exclusive party could well be a surprise, and NOT Port Vale........
An opportunity for Fleetwood to show the weekends win over Port Vale was not a one off. Bristol Rovers will be a tough ask so quite simply are the team good enough to get something from the game
We are all eternal optimists so a fighting draw for the Cods which quite frankly will be neither use...
That's very fair of you Kieran, my pal who was at the match texted to say Vale were much the better team in the 1st half but in the 2nd Fleetwood were the dominant team. I don't wish any team ill at the bottom end of the table, it's dog eat dog. Keep your chin up !
It's never over till the fat lady sings so they say. More than disappointed to miss today's game and I've not yet spoken to my pal who sits next to me at matches. Still 3-0 sounds good, looks good and a rare clean sheet thrown in as well.
I'm totally ok with Fleetwood getting relegated but........
Fleetwood have now completed their 5th deadline day signing and you'll have to go on our website if you want to see who they are - hahaha. Charlie Adam has certainly been busy, looks like we are going down fighting and not with a whimper.
I should have added to the departures from the club Josh Earl who has crossed the border into foreign land -Barnsley.
Quality player who will be a fine addition to their squad
I think we are accepting the inevitability of relegation, Marriott and Vela have departed, both being on high wages ( especially Marriott ) no signings coming in. Encouraging performance last week but thought of our home record leaves one cold. We are overdue a home win, let's be honest a win of...
Jack Marriott leaves a club on the brink of relegation and joins a club with a toe in league 1, no brainer. Good player and wish him well, be speaking with more of you shortly......
A real bummer today, we had a very good first half and then on the stroke of half time Omchere gets sent off. Always going to be an uphill battle in the second but full credit to Fleetwood, at least it's stopped a losing sequence of too many games. We'll see if this is a one off but hope springs...
Good news with Wiredu and Quitirna, 2 of our better players signing extended deals
Expect nothing at Wickum on Saturday 2-0 to the home side and a 5th consecutive
defeat
I'm not holding my breath mate, I have no problems with the club getting relegated ( apart from some obvious ones ) like many other fans I want to see us going down fighting and that's what lacking, throw the lack of quality in certain positions and it all points to a huge clear out come season end.
