I doubt we’ll make it past conference north for a fair few years if not longer to be honest. Even then it won’t be plain sailing for us there are some decent teams in non league now that spend money.
There’s currently only one club in a league ready for next season and that’s AFC. A Bury supporters group with Bury fans fronting it have bought Gigg Lane out of admin but they have no team as they missed the deadline to have everything ready for the FA. The plan is from what we know that’s out...
Lowe would never have left the North had circumstances been different. It shouldn’t have been any surprise that as soon as one came in for him in a higher division he’d be off.
But then you have to look at it from the other side. Why would several players make it up? If they wanted him sacked they could have just downed tools like players normally do to get a manager sacked.
They averaged less than 20k when they were in the PL. They couldn’t sell out when they went to Wembley for the semi final and without checking probably the final of the FA Cup. They only rose up the leagues because they had a man who was willing to put his millions in otherwise they would be no...
This doesn’t make much sense. Wigan only average 10k and that’s with the away figures included. So I’m guessing they average about 8k. So all their fans are there. Anymore would be day trippers. So their fans do back them it’s just they have less than other teams at the top.
To be honest Shuey was always kind of the in the background for us. We didn’t hear from him a lot apart from preseason and at the end of the season. Lowe always rated him though as well as the players who were there. Glad to see he’s doing well as he’s just as much as a legend with Bury as Lowe...
No, but there will always be politicians who bend the rules to suit themselves. You can probably count on one hand the good people that care about the British public. I include labour in that too.
