Harsh on Spurs that. You could argue that other then the opening 15 minutes in Turin and the 15 minute spell after the hour mark tonight, they dominated. That, however, is the brutality of champions league football and playing against the elite.
Fair play to Allegri as well because changing...
I've backed Charlton tonight and only just remembered that Bradford have now appointed Grayson. Bets in the bin two hours before kick off, a new record.
Not a bad window for us but I think missing out on a centre back cud prove costly. Wellens has said that we were close to bringing in Matt Mills and Devante Cole but mills wanted a year more than we were willing to offer and Wigan offered a better package for Cole. Disappointing.
Banks will be back with you once this takeover is completed. Only recalled as we have injuries and are under an embargo. Lack of ability and the fact he shits out of challenges means h should never play for us again. Some of his efforts have been as pathetic as his dads tweets this weekend.
Looks as though none of our loan trio could be returning. Kean Bryan has been linked with Bristol City, Jack Byrne is apparently been used as a makeweight in a transfer deal for a hearts player at Wigan and even if doyles injury ain't bad we must be way down the pecking order to sign him...
I'm sure I read somewhere that bury will have to offload before they sign anyone? That could be tricky seeming as a number of players are on a decent wedge.
P.S if they sign Ripley they will stay up.
If any of you haven't seen peaky blinders then you need to stick it on your list. The first episode of the 4th series just aired and it was absolutely brilliant.
I said a few weeks ago that we would be a mid table outfit if we stopped conceding. We look dangerous every time we attack and the Doyle and Davies partnership is working a dream so far. Let's hope for more of the same.
On paper I think we are more than Good enough for mid table but we are leaking goals for fun and hats the worrying thing. We had one of the best defences in the division last year and now we have one of the worst, despite it being the same centre half pairing. As much as I love Clarke and...
A lot of my bury supporting mates reckon this is last chance saloon for Clark. He really is on thin ice and I can honestly see a 1-0 bury win here to keep him in the job for a bit longer.
Said it from day one but lee Clark has to be one of the most overrated managers going. Took years to get Huddersfield promoted, did nothing with Blackpool and nearly got Birmingham relegated. With a better manager, bury would do well.
I think it would lead to even more managerial casualties. We can all speculate what our teams are spending but none of us really know the true figure. And if it comes out that a certain manager has spent this much, or a certain player cost this much, fans will get on the said players/managers...
There's a reason it's 18/1 pal. I love Sheridan but I think some of our fans are a little over optimistic. Regardless of his record he has a budget to work with. I reckon we will be lower mid table I'd be happy with that.
