Strange game today, while we huffed and puffed and should have won, we came up against a stubborn Northampton team that deserve a bit of credit for their performance. Amari'i Bell looked class and Jack Payne good when they came on. Can only bode well for The rest of the season.

Sorry I don't understand what you mean, other than the games Blackburn or Wigan play against Shrewsbury they have no bearing on Shrewsburys performances or points tally. I wouldn't say either Blackburn or Wigan are doing to badly. I think just a petulant comment from a fan of a smaller club.

1. This is true, I started going to games in 83/84. And other than City now and again Oldham was the only other Lancs/North West club we played until we joined them in the Prem 92/93. So whilst not classed as true Derby game still very much a local rival and one I always look forwards to.

Northampton this Saturday now sold out (1475). Fleetwood went on sale today and is also sold out (1125). Managed to get 2 for Fleetwood, couldn't make Northampton, still trying to wangle an away day at Rotherham on New years day.

I doubt there'll be many surviving Rovers fans who so us win the last of our 6 Fa cups (1928). Personally I'm just missing seeing Rovers win the Fa cup to complete the domestic treble. Seen 2 semi finals and a fair few quarter finals but not the elusive final. Maybe this year, err I think not.

I thought we were lucky to be in front at half time and that we weren't fluid in our play, but at no real point were Blackpool playing the better football.

Very fortunate to go into the break 2-1 up, had a good 15 minute spell in the second half were we took the game away from Blackpool. Probably just deserved the win but still not fluent flowing football yet maybe more to come.
