Although now the important time comes in January - if we can get a few more decent goal-scoring strikers of the calibre of Jones in that upcoming transfer window we can still make it; otherwise we're doomed for midtable mediocrity.

One could have said the same about Cardiff last season but they ended up midtable. Birmingham City who almost got relegated last season were 4th last year around this time.
