By that logic Stockport, Salford and FC United should get a bye as well.

    2017/18 National League North

We brought in 7 players from league rivals and they all seem to be quality additions, for once. Thewlis came from Gainsborough and is looking like he might be our top scorer. We let him go the season before but he was only alright then. Belshaw from Tamworth looks decent in the sticks, plus we...

    2017/18 National League North

its about as good a location fans could ask for, though some of the neighbours might disagree . 1500 extra seats is a lot to fit in when we would also have to increase the overall capacity by 1000. It would require probably 2 levels of seating across one length and 2 of standing across the...

    2017/18 National League North

We should have had at least more then one go at the playoffs. The national league is as far as we will go in the medium term. Getting precious land of Harrogate council for a league worthy stadium is unlikely at best. Apparently they are not fans of an ambitious club in the district. Golf clubs...

    2017/18 National League North

Harrogate made Nuneaton look poor yesterday with a comfortable 4 0 win. Belshaw looked solid in goal though only tested a little in the 2nd half. The whole team worked really well as a unit. An all round good performance. My cheeky tenner would be on Town this season. Roll on Ferriby on Tuesday!

True. . though it's a fine line to walk, chasing success and remaining sustainable.

He said that Salfords budget was in the top 8. I don't know how he could even know with any certainty, seen as no wage budgets published.

Who will be the next club who have never played League football to be promoted??

You should really give up on your 'real football club status'. Been the very worst of something, is not something you should keep banging on about. Can anyone come up with a 'real historic football club' with a more dismal history? I doubt it. :fl::fl::fing:

    2017/18 National League North

He's a decent enough keeper at this level. Played a dozen games last year after Crook fluffed a couple of times. He probably would have stuck with us had we not signed Belshaw. He's too good to be a second keeper.

National League North - Predict the league

Simon Ainge only played as a striker for half of last season so with any luck, he will surpass last seasons tally.

They probably won't finish that low to be fair but I was under the impression that they were punching a bit above their weight and haven't seen much in the way of squad strengthening by them as of yet.

    2017/18 National League North

Harrogate Town have revealed a new badge and have announced a new shirt sponsor. Kappa. Badge looks alright to be fair. They haven't revealed the new kit yet but the training kit looks quite smart. Certainly going for the 'professional club' look however, if we don't finish at least top 7 then...
