Birmingham. We are horrendous against Barnsley. They are one of our many many bogey sides. Also I've been to Oakwell about 4 times, probably my second most visited away ground after the dog shaggers.
Don't care who comes up. Accrington is close but it's just a meh away day in my experience.
I can’t see why anyone would fear a trip to ours. If you play well you’ll win. I can’t overstate how poor we’ve been since Christmas although I can understand how people are shocked by it.
We should get battered the way we’ve been playing. At least Wyke’s back but if we just carry on humping it to him he won’t do much.
Who knows though. can’t say I’ve rated Blackburn or Wigan this season (not seen Shrews) so they’re there to be spawnily beaten.
Will reserve judgement on us til after Thursday. Away at Blackburn so I expect us to get battered. We are 4 points off with a game in hand and no one seems to want to secure a play off spot though, so you can’t help but stay interested.
You had more shots but mostly pot shots from outside the box in the first half, don’t think Doyle was troubled that much. Wagstaff in particular could do with less fecking about with his beard and more shot practice.
Thought we were comfortable without playing well until the last 15-20 mins...
Horrific game but can’t complain with a win, finally.
Thanks to Gills who decided to head to a team winless in 3 months and play horrific hoof ball and put Eaves up front for the last 20 mins who put in one of the worst attacking cameos I’ve ever seen.
Not sure how what we do is not sustainable, we are in a decent financial position compared to most clubs and by offering cheap/free kids tickets we’ve built a generation of Bradford kids who support Bradford City rather than Leeds or Man Utd.
I doubt he will even play, Grayson doesn’t fancy him. Can’t say I’ve been overly impressed with him but he’s probably our only fit striker unless Alex Jones makes a rare appearance.
Said in the other thread anyone going there deserves credit given it would have been easier to stay at home. Pure blind optimism that we’d get something.
As I said I have sympathy as he’s inherited a wank squad with little investment put in it over the last year. But I can’t say he’s given me a lot of encouragement and I think he’s made questionable decisions.
I look at if McCall was still here who is a far less respected manager and I can’t...
Poleon might be shit but he’s still our second top scorer. McCartan and Gilliead did nothing today, just my opinion.
We weren’t tested in defence today for a long time as I didn’t think Donny were very good. As soon as he made the changes we experienced a bit of sustained pressure and we...
Not convinced so far about Grayson. He’s not got a lot to work with but he was bemoaning the fact we ‘didn’t take our chances’ but he’s got actual strikers sat on the bench and doesn’t start at least one. His subs reeked of a guy just trying to figure out what his players are like rather than...
Don’t think there’s any danger of us going down but will be demoralising to see us dragged into the real arse end of the table considering where we were at Christmas. Just can’t see where we are going to pick up a win. After tonight we’ve got Gillingham who we always lose against and then...
Wonder how many will go. It’s on TV, we haven’t won for three months, we haven’t even scored a goal for nearly 5 weeks, season’s over assuming we don’t slip into the relegation picture, it’s absolutely baltic. Fair play to anyone who makes the effort.
