Really no idea how we will do. Half our team has changed and still bedding in.its going to take a few games for our team to gel so I've no idea how this will go. I would be happy with a point but fear an Exeter win.
Nice to get that first win but it did not sound pretty. I does take some of that pressure off though after we were very unlucky to lose on Saturday against Hartlepool. Still not sure about this season, I'm not convinced the formation works without two decent wing backs and we don't have a lot of...
I'm a little more optomistic after these signings. Tutonda ripped us a new one last season and Zubar was excellent, gives us the pace we need at the back. The first 11 now has enough to keep us well out of trouble, but that's without injuries.
I think that's the way to go rather than a stadium that I personally felt was over ambitious and probably too big. I would have thought something like 12000 would be ideal and you would certainly get something decent( although not as fancy) for that money.
Well apart from the fact he played 40 games last season for a team that gained automatic promotion from this division ?
He's a very solid league two player
You see again that's a huge generalisation. There would be many benefits of the club owning its own ground if it's done the right way with the right safeguards put in place. I love the way this consortium have been branded as " dodgy" without what likes no proof whatsoever to back it up other...
No you stated" something looks dodgy" but failed to back it up with any evidence. There are as many success stories regarding owners with no history as there are disasters.
Not really, dodgy owners are dodgy owners regardless of the level of club. You appear to be making an assumption purely based on location rather than any evidence.
The official residence of Roman Obramovich is Moscow while George Reynolds was from the North East. It's easy to generalise but it's a dangerous assumption to make when it's based purely on location.
Winfield came back to us after going out on loan to gain match fitness and finished the season very strongly. Very decent league two player in my view.
This thread tells you everything you need to know about supporters over optimistic expectations regarding their own club. As one example I would have Mansfield down in the bottom three, don't think their overal signings are that great and they have a manager with a lot still to prove.
Anyway...
There is obviously a risk in signing so many conference players, yes it comes off at times but I'd suggest that's in the minority. Good luck but at this point I think it's going to be a struggle to stay up.
Everything that's been stated is music to my ears. For the last two years we have needed a technically competent midfield that had the ability to push forward and score goals. We don't need another workhorse who breaks up play, we already have those players.
