Has anyone got confirmed figures for any of the following
Bradford v Cambridge
Macclesfield v Orient
Wallsall v Newport
Scunthorpe v Morecambe
Walsall v Bradford
Crawley v Plymouth
Scunthorpe v Oldham
Colchester v Orient
Club supported Swindon Town
Best moment of the season: That I witnessed, the win at Luton.
Low point. Most of our home games in 2017
Best awayday: Dartford in the Cup was good, found a nice boozer & the locals were friendly.
Coventry should get a mention, properly good Curry after the game...
We also let in S E V E N (as the vide printer would say) at Forest, when Trevor Benjamin scored for us. There comes a point when you have let so many goals in that you stop being concerned and just sing anyway
Yes, that’s me.
I’d agree that the attendances have held up quite well, considering how poor the results were at home, particularly in the first half of the season. Successive heavy Home defeats by Barnet & Crawley were a particular lowlight
So ours dropped by around 650 this year, although almost 200 of that was a reduction in the number of away fans
We averaged just under 6,000 home fans per game, compared to 6,390 last year
I bought a program yesterday to see if they were in there.
The ones missing are FGR, Cheltenham, Carlisle, Yeovil & Grimsby
These are the figures in the program
400 Accrington est
246 Barnet
326 Cambridge
280 Carlisle
605 Cheltenham
196 Chesterfield
160 Colchester
702 Coventry
87 Crawley...
How many are the Champions likely to bring to Swindon on Saturday, on their two previous visits they've brought 80 & 119.
I know they have nothing to play for now, but expecting a few more on Saturday.
For those that do come down, the inevitable booing won't be aimed at you :)
Is that an actual figure, or an estimate.
If it's an actual figure where do you get them from, because the club seem a bit reticent to publish them nowadays.
PS To be fair it looks about right, I was going to say 250-300
Just goes to show that even when tickets sell out, not everyone turns up
I know of several Town fans that got tickets for the home end (they posted pictures from there yesterday) because they just couldn't get tickets from Swindon, yet we didn't fill the full allocation
The Old Manor Ground at the Pox used to have about 4 stands down one side of the ground.
It was still better than the soulless pit that is the Kassam, oh & we used to win at the Manor too :)
Interesting they did the same thing with Swindon a couple of weeks ago.
Wycombe announced 1,012 & Wilts Football Police twitter tweeted it as 1,104.
I wonder if they exclude complimentary tickets?
