If by "dive" you mean "go down following poorly timed tackle" then yes, he probably did dive.
Still not got over that then? You know, Grimsby brought nearly four times the number of fans you guys did and we had no confrontation of stewards or riot police deployed. Funny that.
Defeat had little to do with Akinde's absence and everything to do with the fact that defensively we've been all at sea since Christmas.
Our defence was at the source of all our problems today.
Well, they think they're being smart-arsed and progressive and clever but in reality all they're doing is destroying their promotion hopes and implementing a management system that has never worked in English football. Genius.
Vose is the only genuinely decent player Brown has brought in at Welling, the others are all has beens. He was playing quite frequently for Colchester last season before they let him go. Good player and I'm annoyed we let him go without giving him a chance.
I can't see them staying up, so...
Something doesn't add up here. I've heard of football clubs being in financial trouble for a number of reasons, but not being able to find a bank is a new one on me.
Police being called was justified by the way. You had 30-40 Woking fans confronting stewards and trying to rip the goal net off.
By far and away the worst set of away fans we've had here since The Hive opened.
Have to criticise the police too, they needlessly made trouble when Eastleigh and...
Very few actually leave early, people get out of their seats and watch from the corner for the last five minutes as the car park is horrendous after the game.
I'm sure a team whose fans throw a tantrum after a correct penalty decision and spend the rest of the game trying to rip a goal net off...
Woking is in no way a derby match for us.
Attendance was low due to the North London derby, simple as. Many of our fans support us as a second team after Arsenal/Spurs which explains it.
Can see Alfreton staying up at the expense of Welling - the latter have made a managerial appointment that is very poor on paper. They've signed four aged 35+ players over the past few weeks which doesn't bode well. Welling a very good bet to go down IMO.
We need to sort ourselves out if we are to keep BR at bay. The defence and midfield were awful. Hunt at RB was a shocking selection, he's nowhere near good enough for a promotion chasing Conference team and he was destroyed the last time he played for us in that position, pretty worrying that MA...
