    Stickied League 2 Transfer Rumours/Confirmed Transfers 2024/25

Depends really. If he scores the goals that get you promoted, £150k would be a snip - especially if he has a sell on value after a year (i.e. signs for two years). Maybe a quarter million to 300,000 for a year with his wages but get £100k back when selling.

    Money v Launderers (allegedly)

Rumour has it that the new Hotpoint at the club is actually for washing the kit. As for the score prediction, it's hard to say. We lack impact up front but seem reasonably solid at the back - not that I've been there to see it (I've come out in sympathy with some banned supporters as I dislike...

    Crawley v Wimbledon

Yeah, I quite like it. Totally appropriate too for our current situation.

    Crawley v Wimbledon

I can't speak for others but I won't be going to any more home games until the ban on the three concerned supporters is lifted.

    Stickied League 2 Transfer Rumours/Confirmed Transfers 2024/25

Crawley Town have just put their supporters up for sale. Maybe I'll transfer to the local County League side. http://www.crawleytownfc.com/n.....18430.aspx

He's being sold to the first club that has a large enough stash of babies' dummies.

If you follow a side with limited expectations.....how do you get worked up for the start of season?

Although it's nicer near the top and during the good times, there is a buzz about keeping out of the drop zone. I'm not convinced that we'll manage it but I was watching Crawley way back when we were in maybe the seventh or eighth tier - and the old ground was a damn sight worse than our...

    Crawley money laundering since 2011?

However flimsy it may sound, it's better than the defence we had last season.

    Crawley money laundering since 2011?

Could be worse - at least it's not stuck up my arse. Maybe we'll be taken over by a franchise and end up playing in the Thai league :) Touché :) Your turn.

    Crawley money laundering since 2011?

One senior member of Crawley FC who threatened to blow the whistle on the conspiracy is reported to have changed his mind after being show photographs of himself in Bangkok in a situation which he would not like his family to have seen. :) Brilliant that the most damning piece of the entire...

    Crawley money laundering since 2011?

I suppose it's always a concern when funding is coming from someone who wishes to remain anonymous - it doesn't necessarily indicate anything dodgy though. For instance, if I had the good fortune to win 100 million on the euro lottery, I would feed the local football club some money but would...

    Womens World Cup!

Great result for England but bloody irritated. I was knackered so went to bed and left it to record the game for watching first thing this morning. Not recorded though. Aaaaarrrggghhhh!

Would you rather experience one top flight season or an FA Cup final with your club

Fa Cup? Premier League season? Pah! West Auckland have won the World Cup - twice.

We've done both - but then the program froze.

    League Two - 2015/16

A visit to Exeter or Plymouth in nice weather would be a bonus as I have relatives in South Devon. It might not be a bonus for the relatives though :)

    Dean Saunders (Crawley - Chesterfield)

The way I heard it - and there's no reason to assume that this is correct either - is that the budget is to be slashed BY £500k rather than TO £500k. A budget of £1 million if what I have read is to be believed. Still a pretty tight budget though for league 2 but not quite as bad as £500k. I...
