Spot on. If Rooney was our big signing this summer, Id be worried. But he's not, the other 4 main signings we've made are all a big improvement on what we already have in positions we needed it. Our keeper and central defence let us down so much the last 3 seasons, Pickford and Keane will help...
As I said in the other thread, he wont be in our strongest 11, but we have a squad severely lacking in any kind of depth or experience, so he will be invaluable in that sense. I think being back here is a big motivation too, looks very fit on the pics released today, which he hasnt always been...
Valencia was poor. I used to think he was alright, but he's a different player after that injury at West Ham. He started the odd game last season and looked dead on his feet after 20 minutes.
Im hoping the coming back to us will give him a bit of motivation too, one last fling before...
Had this been the first deal of the summer for us, Id be gutted. Rooney isnt good enough to be top man in the Premier League anymore, but with the other signings we've made this summer and are still working on, having him as an experienced squad player is a great signing. Think about it, you're...
Just realised Ill need to change my profile picture too...Ill wait until I find something just as good, though is anything better than an Everton player laughing at the Kop after a last minute equaliser?
Been saying for a while that I need to start actually talking about football more on here, so why not return this summer while we're having a ridiculous transfer window?
I am surprisingly alright with this. Dont get me wrong, Im not saying Im glad he's gone or Id rather he go than stay...
True, some of the subplots were good, the Nadine one you mentioned for example was great. Others were a bit more hit and miss, like the one with James and the rich woman. Found that one really dull.
Yeah that's kind of my attitude. I don't like ridiculous wholesale changes for changes sake, but of they add to or flesh out the story, it's very welcome.
I've just watched the 3rd episode and now need to watch the 4th! It's absolutely brilliant. I studied the book at 6th form and loved it, this is so well adapted, it's unreal. Each episode has got better and better.
All the more weird is I've not long finished off watching Gilmore Girls...does...
Hooked up my PS3 so I can finish off Ni No Kuni before I sell it. Just a question, as I have a couple of downloaded PS1 games stored on my hard drive, can these be downloaded to my PS4? Or have I basically lost them?
Utter bollocks that isnt it? It's a bit like when Arsenal said they couldnt let us, Liverpool and Spurs have the full 9,000 allocation in the FA cup because of safety. Funny they could easily give that many to the likes of Lincoln and Watford wasnt it?
Im guessing it doesnt apply to Man United...
How many is that approximately Dave? Looks great that.
Most grounds will end up offering just below the 3k. We took the full allocation at every away last season, and the only ones that gave us more than the 3k were Man United, Southampton and Leicester. Bournemouth, Watford and Swansea are...
I bought Skyward Sword on the Wii ages ago and still havent started it. I do love the Zelda games, it's just that you know it's going to take over your life for a long time, so it takes dedication to get started!
Lego Star Wars on Games With Gold has reminded me that it's a decent little game that I actually already own and forgot about! So gone back to that for a bit!
