Piper Laurie scared the fuck out of me in everything I ever saw her in for years after the first time I saw that! Classic film, one of my favourites and still pretty scary a lot of it.
The 70s were great. Probably the best decade ever for horrors.
For the record, Channel 5 and their other channels have a few horrors on this weekend. Cabin in the Woods and the Descent are on tonight, Wrong Turn and Creep tomorrow, and Scream 4 and a documentary about the Slenderman killings on Monday.
Drag Me to Hell was on 5 Star on my night shift last night. Seen it before, but still enjoy it. One of very few modern horrors Ive really enjoyed. Doesnt take itself seriously, has some good scares in it, and some truly horrific moments. The end is just gloriously done as well!
I do wonder how...
Isnt this where the tradition of playing games on Bank Holidays came from? As they had to squeeze games in before it got dark in the winter? Think a lot of winter games used to kick off earlier than 3 too for the same reason.
On a roll on Binding of Isaac lately. Got loads of the achievements and item unlocks. Having looked today at what Im missing however, and just how difficult it will be to actually 100% this game...wow...
I shouldnt be surprised. The guy who created this game also made Super Meat Boy...
That ref wants sacking. How Arfield can still be on the pitch to score the winner after committing 5 fouls after being booked, only that spineless little twat Jones knows.
We were fucking rank. They were worse.
Probably mine too. That video doesnt do the team aspect of the goal justice, it started from our own box!
Lukaku's against Chelsea in the Cup last season wasnt a bad runner up.
Still one of my favourite moments from about 10 years ago. We'd lost at Middlesbrough and stopped at the services somewhere in North Yorkshire on the way back. Got there to find a few Everton coaches had stopped at the same place, so inside the place was absolutely heaving with Blues. Got some...
Would expect Barkley to come back in today. Koeman has made it pretty clear why he was dropped at City, and it's yet another wake up call for him. He needs to start paying attention to them and get his finger out.
Burnley 0-2 Everton
Mega Drive or Xbox 360 for me. They're the ones I got the most out of. The SNES had some awesome games to rival the Mega Drive too, but I think Mega Drive had more top quality games. The 360 was the first console I played so much since my Mega Drive and SNES days. Ive probably poured more hours...
Until that second half, I thought Williams was a shoe in for man of the match, just manages to get in front of everything. Stekelenburg though...okay City had tons of the ball, but didnt really create a whole lot first half, it did though keep feeling like if we keep letting them come at us, one...
Im desperately searching everywhere for some kind of Halloween special at all the local cinemas. Anything! Whether it be an all nighter or marathon, or just a reshowing of a classic. So far all I can really find within about 20 miles of where I live is the Exorcist (which would be perfect if I...
