Pretty limp showing from us in the end. Never really troubled their keeper so once they scored that was it. They looked a decent side, knocked it about well but struggled to create a lot until we eventually cracked.
Need to lift it for the Easter double v Stockport & Crewe or we're looking a...
Over the last couple of months we've lost to Grimsby and Sutton and drawn at Colchester. 1/9 points against the other 3 sides in it. Not good enough really, our run in looks tough and we've played more games then Grimsby & Colchester.
Massive win last night, yes we defended in numbers for most of the game and didn't play a lot of football (hard to on that pitch tbf) but we were very resilient, dealt with Cook well for a change and never really looked like conceding.
Cotterill has got us much better organised and prepared to...
Honestly the way he's played so far he's been like a League 2 Yaya Toure with a bit of Ronaldinho type flair thrown in. Great attitude as well, busts a gut every game and looks desperate to do well.
Osadebe has genuinely been top class since signing for us. Some might even say world class.
Grimsby had to make special plans to try and somehow stop him, Curtis Thompson man marked him most of the game and they doubled up whenever necessary.
Lets be honest, moving to Milton Keynes hasn't really worked out too well for the old Wimbledon has it. Down in the fourth tier getting smaller crowds then AFC who are playing back in Merton and have kept all the tradition/identity of the old club.
Good to see as it hopefully puts off anyone...
We wouldn't have scored if we were still playing now tbh. I honestly don't know what game Cotterill was watching. Your keeper was literally sat on a deck chair with a cigar and a whisky whilst reading the paper second half.
