17 year old keeper aside we were absolute garbage today. Little effort to close down, couldn't pass to a team mate, no shots, no organisation. A complete shambles!
There's no doubting Chorley are a good team and really should get themselves promoted this season, they won't have an easier game...

Jake Lawlor looks to have settled in well. Just a couple of ill thought short passes into midfield but some sublime longer passes into wide areas. Is he a regular with you or a bit part player?
We scraped a replay with a 90th minute equaliser.
We failed to work hard enough and were sloppy with our final ball/finishing, starting in the third minute when Liburd was through 1 on 1, slotted it past the keeper but not enough on it and the defender got back to clear off the line.

When we played there the pitch was more akin to a beach covered in grass. Bumpy and uneven, impossible to pass on the deck with any reliability that the ball would travel straight and true. It was reminiscent of the state of Chorleys pitch for our play off final, a well trodden cow pasture...
My dad followed the original Park Avenue. To the best of my knowledge the NLN Bradford Park Avenue is playing at it's highest ever level and nothing whatsoever to do with the former football league club.
