We play Gateshead at home on Saturday, it'll be interesting to see how strong they are after all the turmoil they've gone through. I guess we'll both field a different team in each half at this stage of preseason though so it may be hard to tell.
With so many changes in personnel including management, along with not knowing the strength of opposition in this league it's impossible to judge how we will progress to be honest. We can only hope for the best :)
Impressed with Marcus and Russ they are really drilling the players in how they...
Struggled with the basics - controlling the ball and passing accurately to a team mate. The Yorksire Amateurs pitch was water starved so rock hard and bobbley but the others managed.
Bradford looked well below their usual standard against us on Tuesday. Granted it was the usual mix of 1st and youth teamers but still not up to par.
Unless they have better quality to come in they will struggle big time this season.
He was on the pitch today, was absolutely shite. I hope we haven't signed him. All the other triallists wore shirts with no numbers, he wore the no.7 but was listed as a triallist.
Just NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!
If he still sports a beard he may be the triallist who played second half last night although he didn't look 6'2". All I can remember him doing was tripping a Bradford player to prevent a break away!
Perhaps Weso has the skills to deal with the Rugby Club barriers?
They'll only see him actually playing football about one game in ten as he's made of glass.
The season before last he was out for months after tripping and falling off the coach at an away game
Guiseley 2-1 Bradford City
Decent game, both clubs changing teams at half time.
We already look to have 100% more desire than last season, although that wouldn't be difficult!
Looking forward to this season now.
I think it should be competative, time will tell on that front. I'm hoping for a minimum of mid table after such a rebuild anything more is a bonus. Build for a push next season.
