I think I’d combust if we won 4 in a row. Donny present a tough challenge yet again but we’ve had them all season, that’ll be 6 of the top 10 we’ve played already this season (and we’re one of them) and the next home game is bloody Walsall.
I’d take a point now to stay unbeaten, but we’re a...
It’s almost as if the people who watch us every week have been saying we’re a decent side, we even played good football in the farcical 2-1 loss against you lot.
Are Gillingham fans are the same every year against us, or is it just every game? I’ve never known a fan base moan so much at decisions that are quite blatantly correct. It was exactly the same last year.
Brilliant from us yet again, 3 on the spin now.
I wonder what the cash out on Stockys bet...
Jake Eastwood has been confirmed to be out for at least 6 months with a severed patella tendon after ripping it on something hanging off the inside of the goalpost.
Horrible injury for him and just about sums up our luck in general with injuries.
Carlisle fans citing not getting the rub of the green after we had to put on a child in goal for 75 mins, on top of having 5 first team players out of the game…
It’s definitely your best option to walk but leave plenty of time and it’s even longer on the way back when SYP inevitably make you walk the long way back to the station
I don’t actually disagree with the players comment, although Mcjannet and Svanthorsson probably get into your side.
However, we tend to fare okay with sides who play like we do. Williamson plays in a way that Artell is trying to get us to and we drew away to MK & beat them at home last season...
Charles Vernam out for 4 months, another long term injury to a growing list of ridiculous luck.
Vernam, Thompson, Tharme & Davies are all starters for us and have all had long term injuries. I’ve seen us have some bad luck before, but never like this.
We’ve not won 2 on the bounce for 65 games now, I’m not entirely sure that ridiculous run ends on Saturday either. We’re still contending with a horrid injury list that’s probably got worse with Vernam going off on Saturday and Green being suspended.
All that added to our tough set of starting...
We’ll no doubt continue our LWLWL form with a win on Saturday, which will sum up our season so far.
I think a win gives us a good start to the season after a really tricky run of games, a loss would give us what would feel like a really undeserved 6 points from 18 available. After being draw...
The game was over as soon as you were gifted two goals by the ref, the 3rd was a cross that looped in and the 4th a deflected shot that did the same. We’d do well to concede 4 of them all season, never mind in one game.
My review of our game is my review of the season.
Probably the better side on balance, playing better football than the opposition yet we can always count on one of two leaving their brains in the dressing room and we end up losing when we shouldn’t.
In Notts & Chesterfield you have two games...
Today has made it much easier to sit on the ‘we’re a good side’ hill that I’m willing to die on.
Absolutely dominated Bradford today, 2-1 flattered them.
