Our BBC match commentary team mentions that point, and with some incredulity that it went by un-noticed by the ref. Sadly not included in the very brief match highlights.
We played Carlisle at home recently, (1-1) I thought they were a very good side. I don't know what theyr'e last three fixtures are, but you would fancy they will be very hard to stop now.
Funny old game, but it was Notts County who were the best team we've played at home for me this season...
It was Mills who put the ball in for the Goal, possibly not ment to reach Mondal, but there was oceans of space at that latitude, and Mondal was quick and running onto the ball, which probably helped.
Call it superstition but your last sentence does sound like it should be so, I guess the gods...
That’s a great result for us against another side in the higher places of the table. Something we have seldom managed, so an encouraging sign. Can’t say I like time wasting myself, even when it’s us that do it, but all’s fair in love and war, and we face it often at home too. Clearly we hung on...
I forgot about Mark Ellis, very highly thought of here. Couldn't agree terms with Carlisle to sign him permanently. Despite suggestions to the contrary, we're as tight as anyone else for the most part with transfers. You still have a good few from last season playing for you. Not many of our...
Given that it will be a very very tough game, I fancy we have finally got something rolling. It will hardly be a shock if we loose of-course, respect where it’s due, but we do have the players who are more than capable, were finding a way to get the job done. But the self-destruct mode is always...
The game was not pretty, but the point has been made it's all about the points and not the performance when the chips are down. Encouraging we're showing some desire, still not convinced yet though. Friday another massive game.
Not much in it in open play, but Macc shading it probably. We seldom look competent at home. We seem pretty short of quality for the most part. In the send it was two bits of quality that made the difference though. Thank god for our Swindon lad, Joe Mills. He has quality.
Not much I can add. Maccs' need is far greater than ours relatively. We need something out of this though, other results have been very kind to us, but hopefully today with Doidge scoring again and Reece Brown (player of the month EFL2) to support him we will hit some home form.
Listening to commentary it sounds like Crawley had plenty of opportunity to get a result. You can't blame us for taking two of our three chances. We have a habit of doing this, it can't be just luck. Or boys will be feeling very satisfied and a little relieved.
Another chance to register a rare...
Still in our hands, but it feels like death by a thousand cuts.
We've been off the pace from the start of this year, no sign of finding the extra gear.
Still hoping like you do!
I'd take Kayne River Wollery (again) from Swindon, looks like it's finally coming together for him, unless he's just trying hard now because his contract is nearly up?
We just need to win ONE of these big home encounters. If we do it will give us the boost too get over the play-off line. Other wise it screams, your good, but not that good, which I would have gladly taken at the start of the season, but now it looks like were so close to an oportunity, it...
Well your right about Doidgy, that is part of his game these days. Non entity of a club is a bit harsh. Our away support has improved this season a fair amount and they do make a lot noise mostly.
