Millwall (A)
Where it all started to unravel last year. Big test for Bielsa, style may have to go out of the window as a dogged Millwall team will be up for bringing us down a peg or two. They'd love to be our first defeat.
1-1
Preston (H)
Easily beat us in the cup. Hopefully it's a different...
8 of our next 11 games are available on Sky (I say "available", as some are on the red button).
It does get on your tits, the amount of changes to places like London where people will have tried to book cheap trains etc.
Pullis got his tactics spot on. Disrupted Leeds' tactics and broke when they could. Neither teams really threatened seriously as a result. Entertaining game tactically, the sheer size of Boro's centre backs stifled Leeds' wingers but Leeds controlled midfield meaning Assombalonga was isolated...
Norwich didn't look bad in the opening 20 minutes against us. The problem came when they went behind, it was almost like they instantly gave up. I think half of the reason Leeds looked so impressive was that Norwich weren't putting in the effort.
Big test for Farke at the weekend.
Probably the biggest game of both teams' season so far, a top of the table clash at Elland Road under the lights.
Two differing styles of football, but on paper this game should be a cracker - Boro have started off well and haven't spent loads (in comparison to last year anyway) to build up...
Norwich had spells in the first half but seemed to collapse when the first goal went in. Leeds were pretty dominant after that and it ended up pretty routine.
I can't believe people were hesitant in thinking it was a good idea to offer Hernandez a new contract. Age aside, he's been brilliant -...
Luhukay doesn't seem to be as gobby as Carlos from the snippets I hear on Radio Sheffield (probably helped by the tiff that Wednesday are having with the BBC this season). He just seems to get on with it, which I like more.
I think Leeds did ok considering we had to make a last minute alteration to the squad in the warm up, barely leaving us with a recognised centre back.
We adapted ok in the circumstances, Swansea played us at our own game. Fair play to Bielsa though, he stuck to his guns and last season Leeds...
Two long away days in close succession. These are the kinds of tests Bielsa will need to master if we're going to progress this season. It'll be interesting to see if he rotates anyone against Norwich (given Swansea and Norwich's form, this game is much tougher on paper and I doubt he'll change...
I'm all for riding the crest of a wave, but even I'm getting sick of the 'going to smash the league' chatter, even if most of it is in jest. It's been two league games and our subs have played Bolton's. Bielsa's teams have a habit of starting exactly how Leeds have and then fading away, it's a...
Another dominant preformance, our fitness and energy levels are catching teams out, we seem to win every ball. Annoying that when we eventually burn out in February that we'll have seen what we're capable of
Can't quite believe how average we made Stoke look - Leeds pressed really well and they never really allowed Stoke to get going.
Concerns me that with a lean squad, we'll struggle to play at that kind of tempo consistently.
Positive start, another tough test again Derby next week.
