Maidenhead were genuinely horrific today. There's no point singling out individuals, the team were a disorganised shambles all game. Seems like a majority want Devonshire out now. He seems completely out of ideas on how to turn things round.
Conceded 18 in our last 4!
Devonshire sounded completely broken in his post match interview yesterday. Seems to be no plan for Tuesday other than to cobble a team together and tell them to keep it tight at the back.
The player said he was injured, you said he was two weeks away. Brennan didn't say anything, but carry on with the conspiracy that Brennan is using us as some part of grand plan to achieve some kind of underhand goal.
If a player is two weeks from being able to play and hasn't played in two months saying he's injured is hardly "misinformation".
Wealdstone fans and their theories.
Our chairman told the story of his signing on a podcast a few months back. When Kleanthous approached Jim Parmenter about signing the "Dover striker" that Currie had spoken to him about, it was assumed on both sides that it was Inih Effiong. A deal to sign Effiong was agreed, only for Currie to...
Grosvenor Vale being the epitome of luxury of course.
Sesay is a good signing. The situation is quite strange. We didn't have enough left in our budget to give him a deal, but once some budget was freed up we offered deals to other players instead who we probably needed less.
He hardly "turned his back" on you when he moved all your overpaid squad players on multi year deals to Barnet for transfer fees.
Agree on his scouting network - sadly we only saw a couple of gems and too much of your dross.
I'm also cynical. The squad is a mess and Devonshire was pretty clear in his post match interview on Saturday that very little would change before Tuesday with only one training session in between.
Basically if you have a positive case and then run off to the League asking for a postponement...
