A lot of it depends on circumstances etc. and also the two first away games are (no offence to Saffend or Scunny) fairly uninspiring. Deceptively long trips, we've had them both in the league consistently over the last decade or so etc. etc. If it was say Sheffield United (3pm not half 12 ;) )...
We never sell very well at Scunthorpe to be fair. I'd expect around 1000-1200 which is still respectable. Southend will be another which is higher than average but not sell out material and I'd expect Swindon to sell or get very close to selling.
To be fair, whilst I think he'll win the polls aren't too supportive of that opinion. Pretty much all of the polls putting Trump ahead are Ramussen, so I'd figure there's something wrong with their methodology.
What is true is that Clinton's lead is dwindling. Plenty of double figure % leads...
I don't share the same optimism that we'll end up challenging the POs, I'm not sure I know how much L1 has changed in the 6 or so so years we were away to be that confident. There's some top top clubs I expect to be in the top 10 though.
However the argument that is was simply momentum which...
There's a chance Cheltenham could end up doing what we did, though I'd put that down to the strength of the manager rather than the strength of the squad. Johnson is a massive man motivator when it's going well.
But of course, let's not forget we struggled to adapt initially. I wonder whether...
This is where electability versus protest comes into it. Some are willing to put forward a realistic Labour govt. whilst others are not.
Smith for example wants to lower welfare spending, he's said as much. In an ideal world there would be very low welfare spending. But, does that mean we...
Surprised we played such a weak side to be honest, thought we'd be playing first XI at this point. Only 3 started you'd say would start in a league game.
Nice runout for some of the yoof and trialists against FL players though, especially first half.
Ha just seen the whole 'shaken hands' stuff with Oxford, I wonder if the combined hatred of the Bristol clubs over the last 24hrs has surpassed their hatred for Swindon
Maybe temporarily
He will completely flop at this level now, it's the Rovers way
Pleased he's signed, much less pleased than I would have been a month ago though... hope he delivers and in all seriousness he may well do!
I think people overestimate the idea that the polls are always wrong.
Leave led consistently in the run up to the referendum, No led consistently before indy ref, Cons led consistently before the last election. Important to consider these things as a trend, rather than as individual polls.
No change is ever achieved by not even thinking about power, Momentum and co. suggesting that elections aren't that important or whatever they said is extremely worrying.
The key is finding a balance, rather than putting power above principles all of the time or vice versa.
I'm not so sure he would win as comfortably (if at all) in a leadership election, the data from YouGov stating that union members support is also dwindling is a bit of a blow.
The likes of Momentum are tiny pressure groups, and are very small in comparison to the membership or the Labour...
Dunno. Union members hold very different opinions to union leaders, and Momentum are a small grassroots organisation (where is the money coming from?)
I think the fall out is bad either way, but I think its worse if Corbyn is allowed on the ballot regardless.
