We are being linked to Dru Yearwood from Southend. 18 year old midfielder. I have never heard of him but apparently Premiership teams are interested in him but we are in pole position (taken from footballforum).
Had a good view from the red button to be fair. I think it is the same rule in fairness but I thought it was only from one side to the other, not making it nearer the goal. Something like that anyway. Lumley hasn't saved a penalty whereas Smithies used to save 50% of them. I would love Smithies...
I said in the away fans thread that our second half was poor and the time wasting was a joke.
The penalty wasn't even taken on the spot so scuffing it didn't work.
He was blowing out his arse, couldn't even chase anyone jogging through the middle with the ball.
Way too much time wasting. How we started the second half was disappointing. I get it for the last 20 minutes or so but you cannot just hope backs against the wall for 45 minutes would work.
We...
We have lost 5 in a row now so we are doing our best to come back into this thread.
Next 3 games are WBA (H), Boro (A), Leeds (H). Could easily lose every one of those.
I didn’t go but gutted that City got a penalty that never was.
Second half we offered nothing. Played well in the first half and Smith could have had a couple.
2nd half we didn’t want to go past the half way line. And Bidwell didn’t want to stop any crosses at all.
Tell me about it! Saw a stat that we have won more FA Cup games this season than in the previous 16 years combined.
Fair play to the club, against Watford £10 for season tickets and £15 for non season ticket holders.
We are going to win the cup! Tough game against Portsmouth last night but our second half performance was a lot better and we went on to dominate them. Didn't let them have a shot until the final flury at the end so very happy.
First time to the 5th round in 22 years!
Walsall have signed Oteh from us. He is a striker who is highly rated with us. I didn't expect him to go out on loan at all, so it has caught QPR fans off guard especially as we cannot sign anyone.
I really hope he does well, I have high hopes for him.
Don't breath
I watched this last night and I thought it was really good. Pretty scary and jumpy in parts and the way they build the tension is brilliant. Considering there isn't much talking it was really good and heartfelt.
I felt the ending was a bit rushed though
8/10.
I don't hate the ground, in fact I really liked it and had a great atmosphere. I just hate not having any beer at half time.
I think we are the favorites now we are back at LR with a couple of players back but it will be a tough game.
We aren't expecting it to be easy but the feeling is pretty confident. We are at home and have Luongo back plus one or two others. The directness from Portsmouth in the last game didn't play to our strengths but the weather and pitch were pretty dire.
I am going to the game so no doubt we'll...
This was after the game though, which makes it weirder. You would think they either stop selling at the time or have no rule at all. If you ever need to go there after a game, at least you know to say no if you have been to the game.
I thought the same, it was a pretty close game without many clear chances. Not sure what happened with the argybargy going on, seemed a whole lot of nothing.
You'll have Lowe back next game, we'll have Luongo back which is massive for us.
On a side note, why doesn't your away end sell beer...
Does it come under safety? Or there is probably something in the terms and conditions that names can be cross referenced if they think there could be a safety breach?
Some teams make the training rooms really bleak, like paint them brown and make them either really cold in the winter or hot in the summer.
I can't remember what manager it was, i think it was Gregory years back, was livid that we made the away changing nice at QPR and fixed the showers.
Doing well. Was doing better when he had a better team behind him but he is a really good player. Been nursing a groin injury for the last few games as well. Be brilliant if the loan were to be made a permanent one but I can't see it happening.
