Sounds like a terrible performance today. Wasn't at the game but from what I've heard we were absolutely hopeless going forward and only got the draw because of Johnstone. Could have been 2 or 3 nil to Brentford. Fair play to them though sounds like they had a really good game.
Bruce is most...
Same, I like Bruce but his tactics are all over the place. We score 8 goals in our last 2 matches and he decides to change to a back 3? Baffling! We should play the same away as we do at home, yes we might lose some games but we will win our fair share too.
To be fair to him he did see it...
Our away record is worse than crap though and we very rarely win when we are in front of the Sky camera's. I predicted a draw before the game and I would have taken it.
We should be challenging for automatic promotion that's for sure. If we're not then clearly there is something majorly wrong with the management at the club. But it is a tough league to get out of. On paper there is no denying we should be one of the favourites for promotion but anything can...
Thought we played pretty well after Bruce went back to 4 at the back but why the hell did he he start with a back 3/5 in the first place? Think a draw was a fair result, both teams didn't do enough to win IMO. A draw away at Bristol live on Sky on a Friday night? I'll take that.
The long ball tactic is all well and good if you have someone that can hold the ball up. Davis held the ball up better than anyone I've seen in a long time on Saturday. Sounds like Hogan will be in to replace Davis though so hoofing it towards Hogan is not going to work.
Keinan Davis, Aston Villa, 19.
Looked good against Brighton at the end of last season and was fantastic against Norwich on Saturday. Too early to tell how good he will be but has massive potential.
One to keep an eye on for sure.
If we sell one of our best players, what does that say about us? Would be really pissed if this was true. Doesn't matter about the price. We don't need anymore signings IMO. We have Kodjia and Jedinak coming back soon! Can maybe get in a couple of loans but keeping Hourihane should be a...
1st game I've been to this season, got back about an hour ago! I live a way away!
Have to say I thought we were fantastic today, created some very good chances and looked fairly solid. I know Hourihane will get all the plaudits (and rightly so) but for me Keinan Davis was Man of the Match. So...
Well, that didn't quite go to plan for us did it? Sounds like we were terrible, no bite what so ever. Why Gabby is still in the starting XI is baffling. Yes he scored against Hull but he didn't do much else in that game. Think he can have some impact from the bench but not as a starter...
"Aston Villa have completed the signing of Josh Onomah on loan after news broke this morning that he had been training with Villa ahead of a move."
Excellent loan, looks a real talent.
