Maher to be out in 12 months time with the club still stagnating, Currie to step into his shoes and Southend will be roaring. He’s a great influence around the club and exactly what yhe club needs (except Ron departing ofc)
Having Currie and Vilhete at rival clubs in the same division is truly...
Hmmm. I rate NL as the strongest it’s been in a while (in terms of club size down here and individual players - obviously this doesn’t entirely match up to the form of some teams) and L2 is fairly weak this year (look at the strength of L1 in comparison).
But to say these teams would stay up is...
If you don’t approach Darren Currie then you need a serious other alternative.
I mean I hope he’s learnt his lesson after working under TK to avoid cretinous chairmen, but he really would unite the fans and get the feeling back in the team.
Will never forgive TK for fucking up the situation...
Looking at Barnet for a second, just realised that we have only played 3 teams below 10th so far this season - 7 of our games have been against the current top 10.
No matter how shit we are/were, that is a horrendous run of games to begin your season. 3 unbeaten now, need to hit the ground running.
To send him off for that second penalty is an absolutely stupid decision from the referee. Fucking hell.
How can you say there’s intent when it’s that close to him and struck with such speed…
How bad was the sending off/penalty - did it warrant what I presume was HK’s reaction to be sent off?
This again highlights HK’s tactical issues. He again could not do anything to alter the game to control it better/tighten up. I don’t care how ‘brave’ or good our performance may have been -...
Unfortunately for me, I agree. Reports from people I know at/were at the club seem to show TK becoming worse with every passing season. Fanbase too small and apathetic + his hold on the club too strong to do anything about it.
It’s just so depressing.
You know what? I’m really struggling with how shit Barnet FC have become. It’s amazing how you don’t realise how much positivity your team brings to your life until you realise your chairman is a kleptomaniac intent on never selling the club whilst being managed by clueless Kewell, watching 4 of...
Mauro is absolutely fantastic and a great guy to boot. Amazing versatility, huge leap on him and he is technically comfortable too. He did have some injury issues but really should still be here along with Johnson if TK hadn’t cut the purse strings to such a stupid extent before last season...
I imagine that will happen sooner rather than later. Although to be completely fair, our starting run of fixtures is DISGUSTING
Notts H
Solihull A
Daggers H
Grimsby A
Eastleigh H
Chesterfield A
Bromley A
That is just a relentless run of exceedingly tough games for any team in this division...
Whilst there are deeper problems at the club than just him - I have to say I’m seeing alarm bells that matched my gut feeling ever since we signed him.
He just doesn’t seem to see the problems that are immediately obvious to everyone else around him. Or he does see them and fails to react...
I find it hard to detest a player that isn’t Danny Hylton, but Callum Reynolds really does push my resolve.
Fancy making wanker gestures at fans of the club who put up with his exceedingly arrogant self whilst he done balloons days before crucial games. I also know how poorly he behaved behind...
