Of course it is our concern, but it would still be (and is) classless if other fans then decide to publicly enjoy it. Again, this isn’t Newcastle being relegated to the Championship. We could (and I have fairly firm knowledge that is ‘would’) be disastrous.
The humour is always there in...
The Hive and Barnet FC are under different companies. TK could easily sell the club/bin it off and keep the Hive (which is why finding a buyer for the club would be so difficult - who would buy a club without a stadium or revenue streams?). The Hive is future proof, the FC are not.
Everyone on here (maybe not public knowledge granted) knows about the plight we’re in. Especially Wealdstone fans seeing as they watch our movements more closely than our own fans do. It’s quite clear that relegation = probable liquidation, to laugh about that specifically is classless. There’s...
‘Die on this hill’
‘Selling your soul’
Very dramatic bunch today aren’t we?
This is exactly my point though. TK is ruining us anyway which a relegation would hasten/all but confirm. So to celebrate or take enjoyment out of that if/when it were to happen is classless.
Wtf? Read what I said again.
I said if we get relegated we are likely to never return (most likely go into admin a few years down the road and a Phoenix team set up). My point was that I don’t think any sane fan would/should be celebrating that for any team.
Who are your rivals - Plymouth, Exeter? Both of those will be fine with a relegation to NL football. But if that relegation would put the club at severe risk of going out of business, would you really want that? I don’t think any sensible fan would tbh.
Hill I want to die on? This isn’t some dramatic last stance from me and I have no desire to yet again debate the reasons for your one-sided hatred of my club.
I’d argue that the celebration of teams going out of business is a part of football which needs to die out, rather than be lauded and...
We’re not talking about a relegation to the Championship or L1 here, it’s a relegation to regional football which can easily put us (and other teams) out of business. Local rivals or not (I don’t deem it a 2-way rivalry tbh), I don’t think any sensible football fan wants to see clubs go out of...
Again highlights the awful attitude some Wealdstone fans have towards us. How is a club ever getting relegated (at this level where it could spell the end of any club) hilarious? Just a ridiculous point to make. Classless.
Mate with all due respect we’re shitting it out of fear for the future of our club and community, rather than the fear of relegation. We deserve to go down and the chairman deserves far more on top of that. Bit shortsighted to suggest that.
Any team that has scored less than 4 against us doesn’t deserve to be in this league. This is fucking pathetic - has there ever been a side less prepared for a football season anywhere?
The chairman simply has to come out and own this mess he’s created.
Ive said the club is finished so many...
The Currie Effect. That entire squad wanted to fight for him. Will never forgive TK for binning our best chance of club progression in him.
Dagenhams best piece of business will be picking him up when they turn the screw on McMahon.
