Not sure that’s true for us this season.
Last season was diabolical and Jones came in and saved us really so this season was a major overhaul. I think a play-off push was about the most we would expect this year given its only our first full season under Jones and realistically with Birmingham...
I certainly wouldn’t be dissatisfied with a draw.
Would be very happy with 7 points from Orient, Barnsley and Stockport with a game at Crawley on Tuesday where we would certainly be eyeing 3 points.
Another game against another play-off rival in Barnsley.
I just hope we win otherwise I’m going to feel really silly enjoying two stoppage time goals to win on Saturday.
I know I said I was done but this is just getting even more mental.
I don’t think you realise how flawed your argument is, the fact that you could just as easily lose your next game, go on losing runs etc is the exact reason why you should enjoy moments like we did yesterday.
From...
Fair enough, we’re never going to agree. I’d be surprised if there’s anyone on the planet that agrees with you to be honest, maybe Roy Keane because he’s a miserable bastard.
So I’m going to enjoy my day with a big smile on my face, courtesy of my wonderful football team whilst you can wallow...
Spot on. I remember Arsenal players reacting perfectly rationally after RVN missed a penalty against them.
Absolutely hilarious that you’ve just compared league one Charlton Athletic to the elite sides of City, Arsenal and Man United
I would say your expectations are astronomical which...
Agreed, what weak mentality we have to go from 1-0 down in the 92nd minute to winning the game after 97! So weak!
Anyway, can you PM me the rules for celebrating wins as I seemed to have missed them.
So far I’ve got:
1) Can’t celebrate a win unless you lift a trophy immediately after.
2)...
No!!!
You can’t enjoy yourself unless you score with the final kick of the game of the final game of the season to win the league!
At least now I know, will save myself a fortune not going to the first 45 games of the season.
So you didn’t celebrate the goal to put you 1-0 up presumably? Or any goal you’ve scored this season as obviously unless it’s the last game of the season and you’ve achieved promotion, you’ve nothing to celebrate.
The most outrageous football take I’ve ever heard.
Turn it in, Jesus Christ
Surprised that we celebrated winning a 6 pointer by scoring in the 92nd and 96th minute after being 1-0 down?
Absolutely, should have all just turned round and gone home for a cup of tea.
