Yeah, I struggled to understand what your game plan actually was.
It made sense to begin with, making us switch ends, playing for a draw but then nothing changed at 1-0, only decided to try and get forward at 2-0 but even that seemed a bit half hearted and lasted all of about 5 minutes.
This league.
You think you’ve seen the worst team in it (there were enough times when I thought it was us), then just over a week later another team turns up and takes the title. I’d be stunned if we come up against anything worse than Exeter though now, in 30+ years of attending football I’ve...
Yep, every Charlton fan knows that, unfortunately Andy Scott thought he could find better.
Club dropped an absolute bollock with that one, one of the best midfielders in the league, wanting to stay and they still fucked it up.
Yeah, wasn’t overly impressed with Lee but then wasn’t expecting much from him anyway after seeing him at this level for a season.
Dobson, as expected was the best midfielder on the pitch in my opinion.
It’s not the first time we’ve done it this season and been punished. I actually watched...
I’m not sure when we are going to learn to stop just standing off and backing up when defending, we always leave far too much time and space and it’s the same result every time.
I’ve seen this a little bit but why exactly?
We weren’t great granted but I’m struggling to see what Wrexham did to deserve to win?
We had more possession, more shots, more shots on target, more corners, our keeper had to make fewer saves.
Wrexham looked better in midfield and maybe even a...
I don’t doubt it being Wrexham has played a part, it’s not a coincidence this is the game they’ve picked to invite the Youtuber as I already said, the club have obviously used this fixture to get a bumper crowd in.
6,000 extra Charlton fans haven’t decided they want to watch Wrexham. Of course...
I genuinely think it’s because of the YouTuber bloke being there rather than anything to do with Wrexham but they’ve obviously picked this fixture to have him there on purpose.
Just reading through and thought I’d make a couple of points.
We spent £1.5m in the summer, £750k of which was given to us by Birmingham for May.
At the moment we are a mid-table League One side, being crap one week and decent the next is not unusual, it’s the nature of this league...
It’s as cringey as anything but in fairness to them they’ve always done that when the opposition makes subs, well certainly since I first went there in the early 2000s.
Interesting to see Birmingham playing May in that position, pretty ineffective in there for us.*
Dunno whether to watch tonight, still can’t believe as a club we showed May and Dobson the door.
*Ignore that. The app had it showing as May in the 10.
