Was Neil Harris really struggling at Gillingham? Good start to the season and then a run of three games with only one point, but against two teams competiting at the top end and a much improved Donny. I guess it depends on the owners' expectations and how much they've spent but seems like half...
Don't know if they still do it but every match thread down in League Two used to have about three pages at the end of Vale fans posting screencaps of the highlights showing all the mistakes the ref made.
Deserved the point last night but had to wait till the very end to get it. We were a bit guilty of getting into good positions and then hesitating when the shot was on though, need to be braver.
Referee was awful too, we had several better shouts for free kicks and penalties than the one that...
I'm not too worried. I think we've enough to finish comfortably mid table. I actually thought derby deserved the win too, though only narrowly. 2-0 flattered them and while they spent most of the game sitting back and sitting on the ground pretending to be injured they were well on top for the...
I agree with that point on the Athletic. I feel compelled to point out that I have nothing against Wrexham or their famous owners but get sick of media circuses following whichever lower league club are flavour of the month and making out that we should all root for them as if other clubs down...
Nah. When attendances rose enough for us to use it for our own fans on occasion they decided they quite liked it there. Not often we get the chance to have our fans behind both goals so we're keen to take it.
Wouldn't rule it out as a possibility for when we play Bolton. It depends how many...
Derby have sold out their allocation for their trip to Carlisle on the 23rd of September at 1546.
Good going to sell out two weeks ahead, cue the usual big-club bleating though about how they're going to 'take over' the home end that the home attendance will actually be 50% Derby fans and that...
Think Garner will be used as more of a late game wrecking ball. Don't really want to see him start games, since he'll get booked in the 20th minute and not be as effective and struggle to keep up with play. Much better to have a joey garner with fresh legs in the final third of the game.
Wimbledon fans, we've signed Terry Ablade on loan. Doesn't seem to have pulled up any trees in his time with you? What's he like? We're missing goals so it seems odd to have signed someone who hasn't scored any but we could also do with a pacey provider so maybe he's more in this mould.
I wasn't there myself but the impression I had from what other Carlisle fans had said of our performance was it was poor and Oxford easily better so I'm sure our performance against Exeter yesterday was much better.
That was a difficult defeat to take. It really didn't feel like a 0-2 performance and I felt overall we played really well and shaded it though a draw would have been acceptable. You could argue they took their chances and we didn't, but it really was fine margins and things fell nicely for them...
Still need to get our first win at this level since a 1-0 win over Swindon in April 2014. Our second half v Wigan gives me some encouragement though, as does the news that Exeter will have key players missing.
