I liked last season's, brought back memory's of when I first started going to games in late 1960s.
Previous season's was nice too though I'm now more than happy to be going back to traditional stripes.
If we can get everyone back fit who was missing last season I'm sure we'll have a much better season, add a player or two, defender/wide player and we can push for a top 6 finish once again.
I've heard we've been trying to sort a date out for playing Notts County but nothing confirmed yet.
Players should be much fitter than start of last season, starting back training on 25th June, that's almost 2 weeks earlier than last summer.
We played Villa first game of season after they had just been relegated and didn't play Newcastle till Christmas, we won both games.
I do agree though, playing a promoted team first game could be more difficult as team is still on a high and full of confidence.
When we got promoted...
Not making my predictions until nearer start of season and I've seen what clubs have been up to in transfer market.
With present squads I can't see table looking anything like that, them top 4 will struggle to do as well as last season in my opinion.
Probably be same price as last time which I think was £36 unless it's midweek then it will most likely be £30 or if it's first game of season or boxing day then it might be £39.
Still ridiculous prices but other clubs are catching up, Leeds have always been expensive but clubs like Bolton and...
Rotherham definitely deserved the win, Shrewsbury were awful and never looked like winning, it was a miracle they got to extra time.
I just hope Rotherham manage to bring more than the 800 fans they brought last time. :bg:
