Walkey has had better days :lol:
We were dogshit in the first half, Monk has just been on the radio and said as much, lucky to go in level although the goal was a corker.
Only one team in the game second half, was a matter of when the goals would come, not if.
11 unbeaten, incredible.
Norwich away on a Tuesday is pretty shit but a London away on a Friday night is ace, half day from work and an afternoon on the ale watching the weirdos go about their business
Funny seeing the Brentford fans bemoaning their luck with referees, didn’t seem to have a problem when that fucking rat Maupay conned the ref by going down holding his face when nobody had been anywhere near him in our recent game resulting in Keif being sent off...
Never felt like we got out of third gear, never felt like we needed to, controlled the game, annoying to concede late on, but still a nice way to round off the mini run of games leading up to the international game.
Confirmed we'll have Keef back following his red card being rescinded, Monk's one game ban is being upheld though even though it was down to the cheating Brentford geezer going down holding his face after nobody touched him, Monk clearly saw his team was being robbed and got wound up, personally...
I’ve been over in Vegas the last week with a Villa fan who has been a steadfast supporter of Bruce, we watched the Blues & Villa games in the departure lounge this morning (or was it yesterday morning ) and for the first time he had to concede Bruce’s number was up, the camera panned on to...
Should be a decent month for us, 3k+ for Stoke, 3k+ for Derby, 2k+ for Villa, with a midweek trip to Brentford where we’ll probably take around a 1000, I’ll be at all of them aside from Brentford where I’ll be watching from Las Vegas!!!:£
I love watching his interviews, just watching his post-match from yesterday, “it’s was always going to be a one goal game.....or a nil nil”:lol::lol:
Managed to watch the game on Leeds WebPass, thought first half we soaked up the pressure comfortably, never looked in danger, a fact backed up by Leeds first shot on target coming in the 65th minute, looking dangerous on the attack and could arguably gone into the HT break more than 2 in front...
Last one in a trio of tough games, we’ve played well in the last two and arguably should have taken at least 4 points, I’d settle for a scruffy bag of shit and a 1-0 win, unlikely, but on the whole we’ve played better against the better sides this year.
Leeds look like the real deal this year...
Keep tight, stifle the play & frustrate, then try and nick a goal or two on the break? Sounds like the perfect tactics for a team near the bottom away at a team near the top, but for a goal it would have been the perfect performance imo.
Around 1200 last count, real shame the prices are so extortionate, Leeds was always one of my favourite days back in my youth and the bab still hasn’t been, but I just can’t justify best part of sixty quid for us before I’ve even factored in travel.
Not the supporters fault obvs, I take my hat...
