The plot thickens...:pond:
Think it was James on here at the time, he virtually had to go into councelling when we called the game off in adverse conditions such was his rage levels!!!
I remember not so long back we called a game off against Derby County on safety grounds, it coincided with us having a massive injury list, Derby were apoplectic with rage that we’d used the weather as an excuse to buy time to get players fit...
Seems it isn’t an issue when the boot is on the...
Put ourselves back in with a shout today, good results all round from our perspective, aside from the Bolton one, a draw would have been nice there.
I said last week, with Boro & Cardiff out of the way we must win 3 out of our next 4 games to have any chance whatsoever...Hull(h) Ipswich(h)...
Bolton only charging us £15 & kids for a quid in a couple of weeks, it’s a Tuesday night but half term week so I’ll be there with the lad and a couple of his pals
Hopefully see a couple of thousand at those prices...
Another round of fixtures, another “spirited” performance, another defensive shambles, another night we could have played all night without scoring.
Virtually everyone lost tonight, not a disaster, but with every passing game we look more and more desperate. A week now for Monk to get stuck...
We’ve got 6 out of the current top 8 still to come, bearing in mind we’ve only won one game against a top ten side all season, it doesn’t look too pretty for us either.
Garry Monk confirmed by the club this evening, 3.5 year deal, whatever happens with the club this season I sincerely hope we stick with him, we’re rapidly turning into everything I hate about modern football.
Very strong rumours, from trusted sources, tomorrow will be Cotterills last game in charge, Monk will be unveiled on Monday regardless of the outcome, the deal is signed and sealed.
:lol::lol: It’s ok mate, we’ve got our teenage sons with us if Villa turn up in numbers
I’m off to Resort World, hopefully, if this snow continues though I have a feeling they might close that place, in which case we’ll just head into Solihull.
Come on Forest you wankers, call the game off, we want to extend our unbeaten run to six days...
I really hope it’s off, off out shortly for the Missus birthday, meal club and casino, I do not need being up and in the City Centre for 8am :ffs:
Do we think there’ll be many games affected by the snow this weekend, watching the news the general concensous seems to be the heaviest snow & coldest temperatures are still to come over Friday/Saturday...
Currently there’s less than an inch in Brum, more of a pain in the arse than a disruption...
Home atmospheres are dead now unless it’s a local game or play offs type affair, even then too many Johnny-come-latelies mixed amongst the ordinary fans subdues the atmosphere.
Away ends are where it’s at these days, makes me smile that away fans (ourselves included) routinely mock other sides...
The measly 2000 odd we were given for Forest went on sale to season ticket holders this morning, sold out by 10.30am, the fans are doing their bit.
Got mine :err::ds:
