Fair point, but after losing to Fleetwood and Burton at home deservedly it’s hard to see where the next win comes from
Stevenage could run riot tomorrow with their style of play, exactly what we struggle against
If we're not careful, we might just get dragged into this. We've been atrocious the past few games.
We are incapable of beating anyone below us, or anyone who plays a physical/direct game
Tbf, Bolton & Pompey have been bad grounds/teams for us too.
Apart from the forever jynx that is Wycombe, I fancy us to give Barnsley a good game tbh.
A must win if we want to make a dash for play offs (too far IMO)
We have to beat Norwich, we just have to.
We haven’t played a top Prem team in the FA cup in something like 40 years. The most exciting we’ve had was Derby & Fulham ffs.
This is literally what dreams are made of. Can’t explain how much I want it
Yeah spoke too soon there. All those draws today will jump ahead of us. Only chance we have is that us and City won’t be at home on the same day - but chances are that they’ll move the city game anyway
Exactly right? I watch the FA cup for the upsets. If I want a Premier league game, I can turn on a thousand different sources.
Why force a game down our throat that both teams and fans care less about, than it’s rival league fixture?
As soon as the upsets are over, I usually don’t even pay...
Unless there’s some obvious draws today, think we might be on the box for Norwich. Not many “upset” potentials.
Mind you, BBC love to show an all prem tie no matter who it is. I wonder what the viewing numbers are for something like Luton Vs Bournemouth in the FA cup.
Hopefully Norwich don’t...
It’s amazing what a manager can do really. Imagine saying this a few months ago when you hadn’t even scored a goal in the first 10 games or something.
You’d have absolutely pissed yourself if I said that to you. Fair play to DC, could put himself in contention for manager of the season tbh
Must have looked hilarious considering the relief today at the end. Last kick of the ball: Rovers hit the post and Wycombe win! Cue fireworks
On another note - I hate Wycombe and will forever hate Wycombe. Why do we always play so shit against Wycombe ffs.
Also, shocking scenes from...
Honestly, nothing would give me greater pleasure today than tonking Wycombe 5-0, their atmosphere getting really toxic, and then they let off the fireworks at the end of the game.
Phew, we made hard work of that in the end, but we absolutely deserved the full 3 points. We gifted Charton an equaliser, our customary gift per game but thankfully some quick thinking from a freekick and lapse in concentration gave us our deserved winner in added time.
We’re still not the...
Well apart from the opening 5 mins, we’ve absolutely dominated Charlton, but have nothing to show for it.
Would have been 1-0 if Collins hadn’t decided to tap the ball into the net, that was already going in - from an offside position ffs
Agree, thought the last minute winner complimented Pompey because apart from that brief spell after they equalised, we neutralised them all game.
6 points from Bolton, Blackpool and Pompey. What a superb return!
I really have a good feeling about Taylor here, I’m curious if the board will...
So after a couple of tough games away to Bolton & Blackpool, we finally get an easier game in Pompey at home.
Hoping we can end their undefeated away record, but would obviously take a point.
Had a few players sick in the camp last week so hopefully they recover in time
