Any thoughts from the Wrexham fans on here about the price of their kits? I read £60 for adult’s shirts, £50 for kids and £40 for babies? I thoughts ours were expensive at £48, £38 and £40 (full kit, not just shirt) respectively but Wrexham’s are another level!
Just seen a post on our Facebook fans page that we’ve allocated 800 terraced tickets and 105 seats to West Brom for our pre season friendly against them in a couple of weeks time. So that’s what clubs should expect as their away allocation at ours this coming season.
When Burton were promoted from the Conference, that was his doing. Granted he left before they got over the line but they were about 20 points clear when he departed and it was only Roy McFarland trying to help us out that nearly blew it for them.
Can’t comment on his other achievements but...
The greyhound closed about 15 years ago haha. No there’s nothing near the ground now, even the Wrestlers closes most match days. Personally my opinion for away fans: get the train and stay in the Mill Road area of Cambridge til about 45 mins til kick off then walk it from there. The Devonshire...
Oh I don’t know, there must be millions of sky customers DESPERATE to watch two bastions of football going head to head.
But yeah, the mind boggles frankly.

Not a massive ball ache to get to Mansfield early and at least they gave us a...
I literally texted a mate the equivalent of your second paragraph earlier and quoted those four exact players. We have history for taking strikers with poor goal records and then getting a tune out of them with us.
Ahadme did well with us last season, a side which struggled to create anything for many games and he was out for a fair chunk of it too. He did well to score as many as he did.
We had Hepburn-Murphy pre covid, he’s likely a completely different player now and may have improved a lot since he...
This gem is from the article on our website:
“The eye-catching vibrant away shirt was initially inspired by the plethora of water lilies along the River Cam, with the imagination growing further afield to an aqua-inspired floral baroque design, which can often be seen in far-eastern pottery.”...
Berry is better as a number 10 than deeper in midfield. I mean, he’s a good footballer so can turn his hand if needed. But being part of a slow build up isn’t his strength - he’s better at arriving at the right time into the box, or pressing opposition defenders into a mistake.
I quite liked him. He was very reliable. He looked a bit out of sorts when played in that back 3 when we had that absurd injury hit to practically our entire back line but we just about got away with it.
While I know what Instagram is, I genuinely never considered Cambridge United have actually got an account on there. In which case I’m amazed we even have 50k followers.
