Mansfield 1 Sutton 1
The positives outweigh the negatives (injury concern aside of course) for the U’s. Solid enough performance against one the best sides in the league. Optimism is beginning to show.
There’s been a definite improvement in performance since the Stockport game, the change in management, sad as it was, seems to have produced a new attitude.
Steve Morison has talked about changing the atmosphere among the players, trying to reinstall their confidence and belief.
We do however...
Probably the best set of results for Sutton today. Whilst we’ve dropped to bottom, it’s only on goal difference and we haven’t lost much if any real ground.
Plymouth Argyle 3 Sutton United 1
The result I expected but we played well. The main for me was going to be the performance (I wasn’t overly optimistic about getting a win) and across the park the team gave a good account of themselves.

Yes we had official and unofficial half and half scarves. The club even warned about the unofficial ones

(Sorry for sharing Notts fans)
I have a half and half scarf from Neath FCs first (and only ever) home game in Europe from 2011.
I refused to buy any of the ones from our run to the FA Cup 5th round in 2017.
Sutton United 1 Newport County 1.
A game of 2 halves. The first one was dull and a little uneventful (save for Sam Hart coming off injured).
The second was livelier, both teams creating chances, but in typical fashion whilst I thought we were having the better of things we conceded...
