I have issues with Maidstone. Full stop. But that's my prerogative. To me, they are the Man United of non league. My opinion. If you disagree, who gives a fuck.
Oh dear. I was talking about Maidstone's HOME support, not Torquay's AWAY support. There is a big difference. Maidstone were lucky to get c.300 when playing only 10-15 miles from their home town... hence my disdain for that cringeworthy ditty.
Another poor showing in the cup from us. Another loss to our bogey team. No complaints from me as Maidstone had the desire to win the ball all over the park.
One cringeworthy thing about today though... that song that the Maidstone boys and girls sing... 'When I was young, I followed you...
So nice of Maidstone to make it all-ticket for away fans only days before the game... and charging a bloody 'processing fee' for the privilege of printing your own tickets.
Can't get a ticket for the away end? No problem, it's pay on the gate for everyone else... potential for a spot of trouble...
Fuck me! And we all thought BFT2 was a complete wazzock (well, he still is, but this Viking bloke takes the biscuit)
So... back on topic... Maidstone away for us... oh good, a team we've only beaten once in 10 attempts and it's on that lovely plastic stuff.
After a very disappointing game on Saturday (Angels 1-0 up against a strong Chelmsford side going into 6 mins added for injury time to then go and lose 2-1) it's the small matter of league leaders Wealdstone at the weekend. It's going to be a long long season.
Utterly correct Jerry. Apart from one thing, I've never called it 'Darlo' not even when I was growing up in the 'Bay. Never have. Never will. It will always be plain ol' 'Darlington from the Grim North'
Gotta go my chauffeur's waiting.
Strangely, it's not... I quite enjoy my job. Laying up articles on 'Genomic medicine: cracking genomes to cure incurable’ diseases' by the esteemed author Pushpanathan Muthuirulan keeps me entertained for hours on end.
ps: I'll update the table to make sure that REAL Brother Stockport aren't...
I think Vanni has done a wonderful job working out the results and the table.
But....
....he got it so wrong. So, being one of those people (aka lazy fucker) who would rather make up football tables than do some actual work whilst being paid to work, I have made a few alterations and...
I still don't get it though. Why is a Cambridge Utd supporter so interested in what is happening in the Real Brotherhood?
And regardless of the Brotherhood's insignificant and, quite amusingly, vain efforts to belittle Real Brotherhood members, we all know who we are and where we belong in the...
Tough one for the Gulls tonight at Kingfield. Woking seem to be on fire (or very lucky, depending on which posts you read online).... Early on in the season, and the game doesn't have the edge it did last season so I doubt many of the Yellow Army will be in attendance tonight... I'd guess around...
Not sure you've got the hang of this....'Real Brotherhood' consists of teams that were playing in the football league in 1986... just ask BJF2 who runs the (inferior) 'Brotherhood'. Just sayin'
