Pretty harsh read I think. We’ve been generally a good footballing side under Brady so far in his tenure.
Maybe you don’t like playing us because you don’t have a very good record against us.
Yeah lovely little trip, New Street is about an hour and £12 on the train for me. A lot of non Cobblers fan mates have been messaging me about tickets etc mainly for the day out but I think demand will well outstrip supply
Horrendous penalty decision late on at Edgeley Park has seemingly denied us a point. Wootton holding McGeehan, McGeehan holding Wootton, of course penalty Stockport. Felt like the ref was pretty keen to give them something.
Ah well, on to the next.
We don’t tend to try and sit in away from home with mixed results (won at Huddersfield, thumped at Wrexham), so I can’t see Brady setting up defensively. I’d imagine we’ll try and press high and force errors at the back but I do worry it leaves us open defensively especially with how stretched...
Dull old fare at Sixfields. Brady clearly saw we were leaking goals and went very industrial with his selection and game plan and we got a clean sheet. Orient better first half and us better second, and we nicked a winner.
Orient pretty toothless and never felt under pressure even in the last...
Tickets went on sale at 12 today for the Kettering game and the club have just been on Twitter saying there’s very limited tickets left and it’s gonna be a sell out. Think Kettering have been given the usual 1,400 but I’m sure there’ll be a few in the home end, would be impossible to police with...
Orient at home. Both teams will be getting a bit nervy and wanting a win, our home form kept us away from trouble last year but it’s not clicked yet at Sixfields. Can see Saturday being pretty cagey, hope we can nick it.
They play at Latimer Park in Burton Latimer, it’s an ok set up but can only handle a couple of thousand safely.
They bought some land in Kettering itself a couple of years ago to develop but not sure it’s got too far along.
