No progress has been made since article 50 was triggered, when time is of an essence. We’re 6 months into a 2 year period which has to allow for all member states to agree to the agreement, whether that be transitional or not.
The scary thing is that this government, so far, appear to have made a complete cock up of it. Even if I thought the idea of Brexit was a good idea, I'd have no faith in this government to actually deliver.
