49 Langney Sports in a crowd of 4,538 to see The Gulls secure the title. Shame we couldn't beat Woking's attendance (4,589) when we played them at Kingfield, mind you 1,400 of those were proud members of The Yellow Army..... roll on next season, when we can once again visit the delights of...
As has been mentioned before, get the manager right and there's every chance of that. ... in the meantime, make the most of your games with Woking next season. They don't think you're very good for some reason.
Just popping in to see if the fixtures are out for next season yet... looking forward to our trips to Maidst.... oh..... err.. Alders..... damn it, Hartlepools it is then!
It certainly was! I've always wanted to watch Torquay play on a sloping plastic pitch! Last time I was at Earlsmead I had to change ends at half time in two stages...
United 3 Chelmsford 1 .... great result which should all but cement top spot if we can take at least a point at Kingfield on Saturday where the Yellow Army will be in full voice!
Big game tonight - some will say the most important of the season (so far) - Chelmsford visit Plainmoor for a rearranged fixture... A win will put us 7pts clear of Woking who we face on Saturday. A win at Kingfield would give us one hand on the title and only a cock-up of monumental proportions...
If, and only if, we beat Chelmsford tomorrow, that 7 point gap could be hard to catch for Woking. I am so looking forward to how a certain Mr Gerring handles this game. He's going to be a target for the whole 90 minutes from the Yellow Army after his childish rants on social media... he already...
Glad you enjoyed your trip to the 'Bay. By all accounts you were one of the better teams to visit Plainmoor for a while, and certainly the most vociferous.... Good luck when you thrash Woking in the play-off final .....
@Pinner.... Babbacombe is IN Torquay
I would like to think so come the end of the season. We had 1,450 at Bath. We've sold out Woking (1,400), on the way to selling out Chippenham (1,100) and for our final game of the season at Stale Buns we have been allocated 1,000 which, fingers crossed, should see us celebrating getting back up...
Looks like we'll be selling out yet another away allocation.... almost a month away, but at around 12.30 today (after going on sale at 10am) we have sold over 800 of our allocation of 1100 for the trip to Chippenham. It only took me 2 hours and approx 400 calls to get through... junior is still...
Angels host Bromley tonight in the S-F of the Kent Cup. Let's hope Bromley send down their kids for a bit of experience.... last time the Angels won the KC was way back in 1975(ish).
The vast majority of us are... but this season for some reason the morons have crawled out of the woodwork.
Let's hope that those who caused the trouble at WsM and Bath are grounded by their parents that weekend!
Looking forward to this. Should be a great atmosphere (especially for this...
United's ticket allocation (1,393) for the Woking game sold out within 24 hours of going on sale. If it's still neck-and-neck on April 6 this could make for a very interesting fixture.
However, no chickens being counted on my part... we still have to play Dartford (h), Concord (a) and...
...and unless Woking make the game officially all-ticket (according to their forum it's not... yet) then this could be a very 'interesting' fixture. Let's just hope that the morons who spoilt the day at Trumpton stay away from this one.
