What happened about Imber Court, did the old bill want too much dosh ?
Surely Levred is well too far away from Kingston, it's outside the M25 FFS.
Hope it's not the death knell for another great old London club.
HELLO, from sunny sarf Essex.
So, our little club will be joining you merry bunch next season.
For those who don't already know, you wont find East Thurrock on the map. Its the name given to the area around Stanford-le-Hope and Corringham on the banks of the Thames between the Dartford...
Thanks for all your (mostly) kind words on here. So off to the National League South it is for our little old club. Wouldn't have seen that coming a few years ago !! .
Don't really feel we need to make any apologies for being promoted, we had a brilliant run towards the end of the season...
The next five days could well decide the "other" Rocks fate as they have three tough looking away games, starting tonight at ENFIELD, then DULWICH on Saturday and KINGSTONIAN on Monday.
Three clubs with genuine play off hopes who will surely be going all out for the points.
Looks like our neighbours Grays are in trouble.
Players leaving in droves after not having been paid.
Owner Andy Swallow is handing over running the club to the supporters.
Completing the season using young reserve players and loanees.
Can anyone help me out with what is going on at FARNBOROUGH please.
As far as I understand it, the club was in debt to the tune of one and a quarter million quid, most of which was owed to local companies and contractors.
They then took out a CVA where they legally cleared their debts by...
Club are the top scorers nationally in the top levels of non-league football.
Have the leading scorer in the Ryman premier, and three of the top nine.
Have scored four times or more in thirteen competitive league and cup games this season.
Have failed to score on just one occasion all...
Some key games coming up in February.
We go to Dulwich on the 27th, and also play The Angels and the "other" Rocks, both at Rookery Hill.
Bognor and Angels both have to go to McCollin inspired Kingston, while the Angels also have a home game against Hampton & R.
Things may look quite...
Yes I was surprised to see no Wingate flags at Rookery Hill either.
Considering the Rocks are still without hamstring victim Sam Higgins, and had current leading scorer Lewis Smith serving a one match FA suspension, plus a number of other players out injured, they must have been well pleased to...
So the whole ridiculous FARNBOROUGH saga drags on again, with their CVA hearing scheduled for today (Monday), now put back 'till Wednesday, which is the same day as the FA are due to hear their appeal against the Ryman Leagues imposition of a £30 grand bond. Apparently the FA were waiting two...
Now the mystery deepens. ... Late Thursday afternoon, Farnborough removed the "club Statement" regarding the two games being postponed from their website, which now shows both games as scheduled.
Anyone know what's going on ??
Bet VCD and Harrow are impressed.
Apparently both VCD and Harrow Borough have not yet been informed officially of the postponements, perhaps Farnborough are so far up their own backsides, they didn't bother to tell the league.
So Farnborough are in such a mess they have called off their opening two league games. (Not that you'd know it from checking the wonderful official Ryman League website).
Might also have been a nice gesture if the club had offered apologies in the statement on their own club website to the two...
Really hope Farnborough don't go under.
I'm assuming that would mean the club with the coldest, most windswept ground in the south getting a late reprieve.
Oh deep joy, thought I'd seen the last of that poxy place.
