Proper lack of quality from both sides yesterday, 1-1 just about fair overall I reckon.
The officals had a shocker, Stevenage scored just before half-time and it was obvious to everyone with eyesight other than the lino he was offside, then in the second half the most obvious banker of a red...
Even though we've played well in the last two games and throughly outplayed Burton and Wigan we've got no idea how to put the ball in the onion bag and collect three bags of coal, so a draw or a narrow defeat is the best bet.
It looks like Mansfield will have around three/four 3pm Saturday kick-offs this season in 2025, I'm really skeptical if the added income from Sky is enough to offset the damage from this long term.
Very little between Birmingham and Bolton, so close its not worth debating, but if you've been in non-league since God was a lad you'll be confused about stuff like that. To be fair it's easy to get carried away at the minute due to them throwing money about and winning the league easily.
Okay I take it back Wigan were absolutely dreadful and came hoping for a point, I honestly reckon if we scored they’d have settled for a 1-0 defeat.
Mansfield tried to win the game and created chances but we’ve got zero confidence and more importantly zero quality in the final third at the...
Suppose it depends on the reaction from the Wigan players post manager sacking, they were very impressive at their gaff earlier in the season but we beat them 2-1 yet they did us in the FA Cup at the mill.
At least no Aasguard, but they’ve got some real quality still in that squad, I don’t...
It’s not just Orient fans though, seen loads of it on here, in fact there’s at least fans from two other clubs on this thread guilty of it from wins that happened ages ago lol.
Orient are a good side, and if they finish top 10 after the start they had it’s been a good season.
Shambles in the away terrace at Burton, you enter from the top but it was so packed people couldn’t get on to the terrace, capacity is probably too high for stand.
Stockport gotta be fancying their chances at the minute, in sensational form.
I wish we had to play them again nevertheless so we can finally win a game.
Join the club mate, annoying isn’t it.
Personally feel like those sort of results, like the Blackpool game other week have a similar impact on confidence than losing a game, when you play well and do more than enough to win but still only come away with a point.
My only conclusion after Akins missing that penalty late on to win it, our lord and saviour Jesus Christ has decided Mansfield shall not win again this season.
1-1 FT.
We battered them second half, had a penalty very late on (that was not a penalty) Akins, a Burton Albion legend then proceeds to sky it and he never misses penalties. Chance after chance, including some great saves from their GK means the points are miraculously shared.
We drawn...
